No need for the constant Pardew comparisons. Nervous as f*** like when we won at old Trafford/Spurs twice/ Chelsea and beat Man U Liverpool at home? God I don't like Pardew but we did get some great wins under him to be fair So a manager won some games during a half decade as manager, surprising stuff.

The fact is he's a fucking awful coach. Some of their fans think because they're scoring goals if they can tighten up at the back they'll inevitably start winning. Failing to realise he's physically incapable of creating functioning balanced football teams that can attack and defend. If they start to 'tighten up', it'll involve being camped in their own half playing absolute shit on a stick rubbish that still results in narrow defeats.

Yeah the stats seem pretty out of whack actually. It has Lascelles on 0 goals, when I'm sure he scored against Brighton.

If we've been watching Genk we should have an eye on Leon Bailey too. He's gonna be some player.

I have to admit I've been using friends to get away tickets this season, since I gave up my season ticket when I moved away. But I had 60 odd points on my ST so I'm not feeling much guilt. Generally I don't think there is a much fairer way of doing it. One thing they could perhaps do is have a split points system, both an overall total and a 'recent' total say... for the last ~1-2 years. 2 different potential loyalty criteria for each away match. Having either one can get you a ticket. That rewards long term accumulation and recent proliferation.
