I know the answer to both of these, because I'm sad af, so I'll let others guess.

Only one I thought would be likely was James McClean, but just checked and not quite.

Be probably loads of examples with minnow legends - e.g. Lima of Andorra.

Definitely Stern John for TnT. Added bonus that he also scored more goals than at any of his clubs.

Got more appearances for Basel than Switzerland, unless you're just talking league games.

I know it's a relatively small thing in the grand scheme of things but given our propensity to have at least four goalkeepers on the books with two of them training cones it makes absolute sense to make one of them club home grown - even if they're actually fourth choice you can name them as the third choice keeper in Europe and means we can name an extra outfield player in the squad. The fact we have a few options (Woodman, Krul and Forster all out of contract - Alnwick down L1 with Cardiff and likely nominal fee) makes it seem even more obvious.

Newcastle United vs. Everton: 25/05/25 @ 16:00 (No UK TV)

Surely they have nothing to play for anyway? They're 4 points behind them. Edit: forget that obvs they're playing Wolves -
He's announced he's leaving, but he has a year left on his deal, so no way it would be free.

Not leaving on a free mind

I never gamble but put some free bet accumulators on this weekend on Villa, Chelsea, Forest and Arsenal. Obviously it came in. Just put all the £65 winnings on us to finish outside the top four which will return £235. Obviously I hope I don't win it. Unless we end up 5th like, that would be ideal

The way they play I don't think it makes a massive difference tbh. If anything they'll just be more compact which will be more frustrating. O'Brien is a decent player who I think will take over from Tarkowski next season as first choice I think. -

It's probably the one part of the pitch where they have decent strength in depth TBF. -
The one thing I take from this season to be honest is that Atalanta have fumbled a once in a century opportunity. 79-82 points is going to be enough. They could have easily had it if they'd just not fucked up too many home games mid season.

I mean they did, they weren't qualified for CL until today. And they hate us. -

Absolute whitey this -
Honestly it would have been better if we'd just got twatted. that was cruel
-
Forget Silva, was that Johan Djourou gone full rasta?
-
This is more frustrating than if we just came out and never had a kick
-
Think my biggest worry is we lose but also lose players to injury or red cards

It also looks like salvation potentially for Sampdoria, at least temporarily. Brescia to get a points deduction, meaning they're down automatically, and Samp will play Salernitana in the relegation play off and Frosinone now safe. Absolute chaos given Salernitana - Frosinone was supposed to be played tomorrow and is now cancelled.

Rather comically 'Milan Futuro' have been relegated from Serie C to Serie D in their first season. This despite scrambling around in January signing lower league journeymen to try and prop up the project.
