Had his chances? What a strange statement.

Ranger has had better cameos than Lukaku today like.
-
Too many attention seekers, that's the problem.

He didn't dive in one game....so he's not a diver. Brilliant logic.

The further down the leagues you go the worse the refs get in general, anyone watching our Championship season would see that. And the ref was woeful last night anyone who saw the game would see that.

As a few people have said the highlights don't even show the blatant handball (from Marveaux's shot I think), that was a penalty all day long. The ref was woeful throughout the whole game anyway, was like being back in the Championship, the amount of elbows, pushes etc. that he missed was embarrassing. First half we were rubbish, improved in the second half but still didn't do a lot until the goals. Guthrie's goal was quality and he was probably our best player all game. Simpson was poor, Perch was a little shaky but had spells when he was quite comfortable. Cabaye and Jonas were quiet but looked knackered, especially Jonas. Marveaux was up there with our better players and was unlucky to be subbed but I guess Jonas had the upper hand in that he can also fill in in defence. Sammy was class for the first 15 mins that he came on then quietened down and Lovenkrands did well and battled hard when he came on. Ba played quite well all game and put a lot of work in. Ben Arfa was pretty much anonymous all game but didn't go in a huff, you could see after some of his mis-controls that he looked gutted. He kept getting the ball back in play after it went out, putting it in the six yard box for goal kicks etc. this was pretty much his only contribution but I guess it was his way of showing he gave a damn. There's little bits of evidence from Spurs and Wigan that in time he'll get better and better, I just hope Pardew gives him the time to improve.

Probably because it's none of our f***ing business. You not see the article on Granda Ben Arfa's recovery?

If we come out of the run against Stoke, Everton, Man city, Man utd and Chelsea still in 4th, I'll join them in melting down and f***ing imploding to be honest. /after drinking mugs of p*ss and shitting in a favourite hat. Hmmm

If both Vuckic and HBA play I can't see HBA being put on the wing rather than Vuckic.

We've played three teams in the current top half, which is one more than Man City and QPR, the same as Villa, and only one less than the likes of Everton, Wolves, Norwich, WBA, Chelsea and Fulham. Plus, in those three games we've had three draws, hardly bad. I dunno why he's on about Arsenal dropping to the bottom half as well, even if they're there after the Chelsea game its hardly likely they'll be there come the end of the season.

Country of birth - Scotland Place of birth - Manchester

Draw today for Liverpool is another blow to their title hopes.

Whoever said Spurs would beat Liverpool and Arsenal was spot on. Shouldve bet on it.

No but Napoli is... Napoli XI confirmed: De Sanctis; Campagnaro, Cannavaro, Aronica; Maggio, Gargano, Inler, Zuniga; Hamsik, Lavezzi; Cavani Ta. Last time I saw Cavani live he was immense, hopefully be as good tonight.
-
Hart; Zabaleta Kompany Lescott Kolarov; Yaya Barry; Nasri Aguero Silva; Dzeko. Ta. Fairly decent attackers lol.

Anyone know Man City's team?

All players are poor under pressure, Tiote is no different. He just seems off the pace at the moment, even passes under no pressure are going astray. Having said that, in the last 15-20 minutes he showed some glimpses of last season's form.

I always see people on here chuffed when we're going 4-4-2, saying they're glad we're 'going for it' etc. Pardew wrongly seemed to think the same thing last night, we would've probably created more chances with that extra man in midfield. The sooner we change to 4-3-3, 4-2-3-1 or 4-5-1 or whatever, the better.

This should be the team for Villa.

I dunno if they are our 11 best players. I'd want to see Marveaux involved and I don't think Best is the answer long term, I don't rate him very highly and nowhere near as highly as some on here. Ba is the long term answer for me and I'd much prefer to see Ba with Ben Arfa behind him. Striker our a weakest area of the team, I'd rather not play two of them.
