My bets are practically finished already. West Ham man, ffs.

Quid on 4-1 Newcastle at 22/1. I went for West Ham/Newcastle/Bury (£10 at about 4/1) since I'd already said it out loud and was fucked either way. Also copied gdm's Coventry/Leicester/Huddersfield (almost 15/1) bet, given his recent luck. Did that one as a trixie, which I'd not done before, see how that works out. If I get nowt at all tomorrow I'll be just about ready to pack it in tbh.

If you don't bet on it, then it's guaranteed to come up. You have no choice now But if he does bet, the chances are it'll fail. What to do Exactly.

Toying with the idea of putting a tenner on West Ham, Newcastle and Bury at about 4/1. Might just decide tomorrow.

My run's still going as well.

Italy, man! Looks like all the others will come off.

Did Tyldsley just say "Do the math" ffs?

Should have been a goal.

With the '9 out of 20 of the top European attendances are from the German league' thing I was always under the impression that prices over there were far cheaper, which obviously doesn't necessarily translate to higher revenue compared to European competitors. But evidently it must do to an extent. It makes you wonder why German teams aren't right up there in Europe, although I suppose they're perhaps more prudent and not drowning in debt like in England. Also the perceived lack of glamour compared to England, Spain and Italy means they don't attract that many of the top, top players.

You got a link for that mate? I'd be interested to see where Newcastle figure.
-
not so surprising when you consider they're stadium holds over 69k and its average is near full. Not really tbh. They had a modest Champions League campaign, which is the big money-spinner ordinarily. Also the German league isn't exactly one of the most lucrative as far as I know and I wouldn't have thought they match the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool in terms of worldwide merchandising revenue. I suppose they were 4th in the list last year as well, but I was just surprised to see them there for some reason. Am I right in saying that teams negotiate their own individual TV rights in Germany? I suppose that makes a significant difference.

Very surprised to see Bayern Munich in 4th place.

Enrique's still out injured mate. I know I was cracking a shite joke here as usual, but is the complete lack of questioning of this team proof that nobody actually reads each others teams on these threads? Given the amount of posts all "YOU HAVE HIM THEREZ? NO WAIII, CHANGE THAT FOR THIS GUY TBH?!?!!!" in these threads I think people read them, your joke just wasn't that good. Yep, spot on. I've read this team as well and thought about quoting it but in the end thought "nah... it isn't that funny, is it?" Areet man, message understood FFS. -

Unfortunately I'd keel over. If I can arrange to come back to Newcastle around that time then I'd be up for a drink afterwards. -
Should we get promoted who could we realistically get as manager in 2010/2011?

So are you Algerian, American, or Slovenian? So in Nigeria news, Sven is in the country right now. Apparently he's on the shortlist which includes Glen Hoddle. I forget, didn't Hoddle lose his mind when he was manager of England? Let's just hope his ideas about disabled people and their previous lives doesn't extend to people living in abject poverty. Basically he lost his mind, yeah. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glenn_Hoddle#Dismissal_from_England_job

David Moyes looks especially insane this evening.
