Yep, he'll not want us to be seen as "showing off"
-
Those PL 7s are bendy as fuck, makes it look daft alongside a 1.
-
"Oh yeah, soz nige - we forgot. Claude, you're sacked mate"
-
Forgot he had taken the job permanently there, RIP Birmingham
-
Nice symmetry with us starting at home to Spurs with our last PL game having been the same fixture, hopefully it's a similar result.

People were kicking off about the cost of the Lee testimonial iirc, there was definitely something going on
-
I've had a word with myself just there, nothing happened.

Renaming the stadium to SportsDirectArena.com, sports direct branding all over the stadium for free. All nufc clothing and goods sent from Sports Direct. One top half Premier League finish in the entire time he's owned us is damning considering where we were before him. Two top ten finishes. 2011/12 and 2013/14. Ah you're right, the thrill of that 10th place finish in 2014 obviously passed me by

This cunt own less than 100% of NUFC yet?

Despite ending up being a meddling tightwad, Ashley's purchase of us didn't really disrupt Allardyce's transfer business that summer. Have to hope for similar if this happens I guess. Have mixed feelings similar to everyone else, Benitez has apparently just been given assurances re budget and is a top class manager who is transforming the club from top to bottom. It's the one time in recent times I've been confident we're going the right way, and I know our history only too well so it's difficult to be optimistic and carefree about this

Think it was a midweek game against Bolton iirc Thought it was West Brom myself, shows you how much that shite just merges together. Think I was at the game though and he started out of nowhere and played fairly well. It was actually West Brom, you were right Ah right, think I remember Shane Long scoring and Coloccini getting generally murdered by him

He's streaky as fuck innit, when he's on a run he scores every game. Mostly singles iirc though rather than braces or hatricks.

Southampton scored 17 home goals all season, there is a sliding scale of football quality rather than being "Barcelona and the rest" and by all accounts the fans thought they were playing terrible football all year. When your realistic ceiling is around 6th then what's the point in messing around playing terrible football rather than having a bit of fun as you go. It's exactly the sort of attitude we wished our owner had for years on end, rather than persevering with awful football and awful results as we did instead.

Al Moody off here knows the bloke IRL

That's it

Totally forgotten his (YouTube user)name now but think there was a thread on here. Someone will remember.

You'd have thought Southampton would have roped them into a subscription deal by now.

IIRC it was statistically the worst performance of Fabregas at Arsenal. Tiote just intercepted or tackled anything that moved that day He was fucking amazing that day, very similar to Everton away where he just shut absolutely everything down and played the right out pass every single time. The Everton game was unbelievable, according to the stats afterwards he misplaced one pass all game.

Oh no, what a shock
