Klopp with a woe-is-me laugh at the decision going against him. Fuck off. Also the relatively mild applause at Stamford Bridge when something positive happens, including a home goal, really fucking winds me up. Shit club.
-
See. He wishes he was fucking bald.
-
Not too fussed by that, everyone's got him Colwill will come in for me, or Beyer for a 1 pointer. Edit - oh fuck he's on the bench. Fuckin Arteta going to copy his hero and bring him on for a 1 pointer no doubt.
-
eh?! It's rounder than £111m, innit. Nearest 5 and that
-
Got an old ep of WILTY on in the background, had never seen this
-
The latest I heard was Brighton were insisting Chelsea matched Liverpool's bid if they still wanted him. Maybe Brighton are asking for more again but Chelsea are so fucking daft they've potentially just decided they prefer round numbers.
-
Have they bid a completely unnecessary extra £4m? Wouldn't be surprised.

Hmm yeah true, I just remember passing the armband a lot before Haaland. Captaincy choice used to be one of the biggest differentiators between players and now it's basically a non-factor most gameweeks. Even tough City fixtures last season I was just leaving it on him as the least risky bet.
-
Haaland has ruined this game like There'll be dead teams that lose interest after 1 gameweek who will outperform active players fannying about taking their captaincy off him.
-
Aye I fucked it all up Doc, she was ringing Everton and bickering with her husband. I've already been shamed for this.
-
This is where I'm at. It's not mindblowingly brilliant stuff versus similar content I've seen but it's a subject matter I'm obsessed with and I enjoyed the first ep. I'd much rather it exists than it doesn't. The main bit that can get in the Tyne for me is the overly emotive cheesy music that pops up occasionally Other than that I'm all good.
-
Would be such a different game without Pep Roulette Not touching anyone but Haaland you bald fucker.
-
Fair enough, I mean I would have much preferred to see that yeah - I don't know if it's 100% necessary though.

Shearer said on the voiceover we'd gone through 2 relegations and 10 managers under the previous owner. But yes that was about it re context around Ashley. If you're expecting every element of NUFC's past and present to be represented in detail here you'll be disappointed. It is 4 episodes long and targeted at a mass audience. A basketball fan would have to tell me if the content frustrated them but I enjoyed the The Last Dance more than practically anything else I've ever seen on Netflix. With barely a passing interest in basketball, I didn't find my lack of knowledge challenged at any stage of that. I'd assume they could have gone into great detail about technical aspects of the games for example that would have been lost on me as a casual viewer, and I'd imagine the same applies here.

W8t, what?
-
Aye, call to Everton and most likely Merhdad but judging that on the headless figure's gut not being big enough to belong to Eales. Eales appears to be sitting down chilling. Makes more sense if it's husband and wife semi-bickering
-
Fuck it, I'm gonna watch that bit again
-
Fair do's, call to Everton makes more sense

These fees are bad news for us mind, we are shopping in different markets but they'll most certainly inflate the market as a whole. Milan probably gutted they didn't wait a few months to sell Tonali now.

Klopp showed his true colours with the Super League stuff, while other "big six" managers were condemning it. The manager of the holier-than-thou, YNWA club refused to condemn it out of fear he'd be left behind. He's clearly obsessed with winning which is no bad thing but he reached the point long ago where that manifests itself in a really ugly and obnoxious way. Like Mourinho went from likeable to unbearable, it's similar. Can't stand him.
-
It's all clearly building up to the moment they've teased a lot anyway, Wilson being reunited with the teacher he used to fancy.
-
The only whiff I had of any trouble in paradise where there was a bit of tension in the room was when Staveley was about to make a phone call (to Ashworth?) and Eales said "think about what you're going to say" and Staveley snapped back "I know what I'm going to say"

Dancing On The Ceiling

This isn't what was said. Staveley says "at the beginning the big issue was that they (critics) said PIF was the Saudi state... which is absolute rubbish". Yasir then says "some journalists really don't understand what PIF is". Then Staveley: "We had pushback obviously from Amnesty International. Everyone wanted to talk about human rights and they didn't want to talk about anything else. So we've worked really hard to address the concerns that people have". Not saying that's a great deal better like but nobody dismissed Amnesty International's concerns as "rubbish".

Think the next ep will be largely about the buildup to the cup final and the game itself, and maybe a bit about bouncing back after it. Then hopefully the rest is focusing more on individual league games and how that run got us into the CL. Staveley is a lot more emotional than I expected, I mean that as a compliment as the club has clearly got under her skin in a big way. I already trust Howe massively with the playing side but seeing her contributions to the Gordon deal etc impressed me and she'll clearly make sure every penny we can spend is spent on the squad.
