You're talking to a guy who refused to acknowledge the existence of fatigue as a concept last season.

Lewis Miley: signs six-year contract extension (Official)
Interpolic replied to Ronson333's topic in Football
Anyone saying we struggled while Miley featured last season is neglecting to mention that was when we were playing the same 11 every 3 days, whether that's selective memory or not I dunno. -
If UEFA's intention was to demonstrate how shit a European Super League would be then it's clever But it does seem a much worse format, a neutral wants to see teams competing against each other directly instead of whatever this is. Saying that I wouldn't have minded seeing Newcastle in it as it's more games, against more varied opposition, with a better chance of qualifying for the knockouts.

genuinely no idea what this is in reference to.
-
Wayyy funnier game than expected

Restarting phone then downloading on mobile network worked, cheers all.

Anyone had any issues with downloading the Wimbledon ticket to a Google Wallet? Getting an error screen. First time I've had such an issue, wondering if cos game hastily arranged.
-
Yeah I got a ticket as well, 1/5 in ballots.

Cheers mate, I did try once with no joy but will give it a go again next week

quickfingers junior (me) is also 0/4. Pretty annoying tbh - I can still usually manage in the resale but a) it's tedious AF, b) I'm generally limited to singles, c) the more convoluted system this year appears to have made resale harder Was easier to deal with last season when I was getting a few in ballot and could pick up others in resale but this is definitely harder work than it was.

he seems to think it's his job to tell us after every missed chance what the player should have done, when a) the player in question is invariably much better than he was, b) the incident has usually happened at very high speed, and c) the player has often done about as well as he can with it. I don't think I've ever heard him say someone was unlucky, there is always something wrong that only he can explain to everyone. The difference between pundits like him and McCoist is that Hinchcliffe is fucking miserable about the game whereas McCoist talks about the game with joy and enthusiasm. And unfortunately McCoist is a rare breed.

Merson also said he liked Howe because he often made big changes at HT whereas some managers wait until 60 minutes, which we know Howe usually does. It's a special level of arrogance to see something once then wrongly blag with certainty that you know how often it happens, and use it as the basis for your argument.

Sorry about that mate.

He should just pay what he legally owes, and you should probably stop getting so hyped up about it on his behalf

It's alimony, so separate from child support I believe. When you get married you are effectively agreeing to share your wealth with your spouse, with the spouse often sacrificing their own career to take up other responsibilities in the marriage. I assume they had a certain lifestyle when married, she shouldn't be asked to give it all up while he keeps his money. It amazes me how many people are so keen to get outraged on behalf of mega-wealthy people they don't know.

What's wrong with a multimillionaire ex-footballer owing €1 million to his ex-wife?

Ah wow I like this bloke already. Imagine singing that shite man, fuck off

3/10. Lloyd Kelly should be a solid and versatile squad member for many years. Osula is desperately needed cover in the forward positions but is an unknown quantity so we'll see. Vlach an unexpected return to dodgy favour signings. Hall was technically a summer signing and is not the finished article yet but should get there. Minteh/Anderson out - not particularly happy about either but needs must. The fact we've held on to Isak/Bruno/Gordon for another 6-12 months is great but the lack of activity surely jeopardises their loyalty beyond that. The team look flat atm and that's a byproduct of our inertia imo. Hopefully we can reset now and make the best of it. Generally I've been a happy bunny the entire time since the takeover, including during all of the challenges last season when we navigated an avalanche of mitigating circumstances. And I'm still happy in relative terms because we're infinitely better off than we were and can give anyone a game on our day. But we've all seen the perils of resting on your laurels in our past - the first Keegan walkout when becoming a PLC, the Bowyer summer, the Anita summer. Something doesn't seem right atm and I'm not happy with how we conducted our business. Fixating on a £75m centre half at the peak of his value is baffling when we also had big holes to fill at RW and even backup GK. Have to hope the new setup settles and we hit a groove with the transfers, because continuing in this direction the signs look very bad. As in we lose our manager or another DOF. Re our general strategy, surely we need to be bringing in players a year or two before they become an established star if we're going to get the best value and stay the right side of PSR? Otherwise it's going to be very tough going as we've seen this summer.

You not got Brighton fans to be arguing with?

love your resale wrestling promos. GOAT F5er. Just managed one for Spurs in the Gallowgate. The resale definitely feels harder this year like - seems like less popping up and they're disappearing even quicker when they do. I haven't tried the member sale yet as been busy and a bit scatty with dates.

"On to Bournemouth versus Newcastle then. Jamie, do you think Liverpool will want to sign any of these players?" -

This "Bournemouth Newcastle buildup" is outrageously disrespectful to us and Bournemouth. Absolutely pathetic.
