Newcastle United vs. Manchester United: 02/04/23 @ 4.30pm (Sky Sports)

I was at that 6-2, Dyer had foolishly been talking up his chances of starting more regularly for England in the local press in the buildup then Scholes turned up and showed him why he wasn't first choice in that side. -
Liverpool have been flaky AF all season. Spurs concern me a bit just because they have been underperforming considering their personnel, and a caretaker manager can sometimes provide a weird boost to morale and form. It's really in our hands though imo, with the inconsistency of the sides around us. Pick up approx 2 points a game til the end of the season and we'll get top 4 without worrying too much about looking over our shoulder, imo.

Refreshing seeing news of our accounts when the first thought isn't how we've fiddled them to make it look like we couldn't have spent any more on transfers.

It's because most football fans and even a fair few pundits are just after an easy soundbite they can rattle off to make it seem like they've been paying attention. If it's something that puts those Newcastle fans back in their box, even better. The modern phenomenon of people needing to tell everyone very loudly their opinion on everything, even if it's not their own opinion. While the rest of us have to listen to it On the other side of the coin there has been a huge rise in people kissing our arses, now we've been decent for well over a year. This will only increase as we continue to be well run, and our performances become more impossible to ignore. -

He's noncey and he's so bald He wishes he was Stone Cold His patter's getting well old The Man Utd manager (to the tune of Addams Family if not obvious) -
Arsenal out for Man Utd seem decent moves on the face of it. I'm still keeping Saka and White personally mind, for now.
-
Ward, Tarkowski, Martinelli, Haaland. I'm not too fussed about the - 12 as I'm justifying it with the replacements all having decent doubles and being long term picks. Rashford needs to be in til end of season, same with Kepa to rotate with Raya etc. I've not taken too many hits this season but make an exception for DGWs where the potential upside seems worth it
-
Quite a few injury / illness doubts - Haaland, Rashford, Botman etc - making it tricky this week btw. I might actually bin Haaland off for 1 week but begrudge the extra I'll have to pay getting him back later.
-
I'm about 10k OR atm, dangerously dizzy heights. Thinking about taking a -12 so I can fully utilise the bench boost. Players bringing in - Kepa, Shaw, Rashford, Isak.
-
I might actually go Isak this week.
-
This guy is always updating his spready with DGWs, BGWs etc:
-
The only thing that intrigues me about him is why people call him McSauce. I can live without knowing that if it means not signing him though.
-
I'm 10,498th If I'd captained Saka instead of Kane, man Considering fairly big changes for next GW, maybe a wildcard but I'd like to bench boost so probs take a point hit and make it up by having lots of players with doubles.

Totally agree, we were looking very laboured for weeks and devoid of ideas going forward. It was a concern tbh. The uptick in performances the last couple of games are almost as pleasing as the results. We did play quite well vs Man City and to an extent Liverpool mind, but there was a run of games before that where it looked like it was getting stale.
-
If we can get regular clean sheets back into the equation, Isak on a run of good fitness and surely to God some players chipping in with goals elsewhere then we're laughing. Forest have a very impressive home record and we blew them away the other night, on another night that would have been a breeze scoreline-wise. If we're on it at places like West Ham, Brentford, Leeds, we can do the same. Man Utd game is massive - a draw keeps it ticking along, a loss would be a blow, but a win would set us up for the run-in with serious momentum. We don't need to win every game, just need to avoid slipping back into frustrating draws against teams below us and we're in a good position.

Yeah he's done it a good handful of times this season.
-
He's ranting all the time, isn't he? They're probs just bored of his patter by now. Imagine he's a pretty sulky presence generally.
-
He's a confident lad like Noticed it in the post-Wolves interview as well, he said something like "yeah I did really well" or similar
-
We couldn't ask for a flakier set of rivals for top 4 this season. Think we've got a good chance now, the two recent wins are massive.
-
Dirty as fuck, this lot.
-
Imagine being in a lift with both of them, having to endure the inevitable Eleven-erith-off
-
Havertz isn't even a midfielder, he can't even do that right. I'm definitely gonna get Maddison in cos he has a double after International Break as well. Don't fancy any Chelsea midfielders so probs do a punt on Harrison or Buendia for one week then transfer out for Rashford.
-
My idea was better like 12 groups of 4, top performing 8 group winners get a bye to last 16, remaining 16 1-2 placed teams have to play a last 16 qualifier.
