  1. Most Online Today: 268. Most Online Ever: 1,652 (Friday 15 July 2011, 09:21:24 PM) Lucky we don't rely on adverts. We'd be f***ed. 6 times more people on for a friendly game versus Darlington (was that it?) than for a game that will have a big influence on our chance to win the league for the first time in everyone's lifetimes, except Mick. Weird. You can p*ss right off. Wallsend thicko Eesh! I thought Mick liked being called ancient, you live you learn though.

  5. I don't mind Gouffran as a wide player in a 3, think there's enough creativity/end product in a front 3 of him, Ben Arfa and Cisse. It's him playing wide in a 4-4-2 that's done my head in.
  6. Should be Gouffran and Ben Arfa either side of Cisse tbh like.
  7. Cannot believe some of his quotes this week. Generally always think I couldn't detest him more, but he proves me wrong regularly. Those quotes are fucking outrageous, I'd go into a fucking massive rant about the fact I'm from a fairly rough area in Wallsend yet have been well educated at school, college and then University but I just can't be arsed. Alan Pardew is an absolute fucking prick, and it kills me that some of our support are too thick to see that. Ironically enough it'll be the thickest of our lot that lap this up.
  8. So Sherwood's managed it in less than 6 months, Pardew's never done it during his entire managerial career of 10 years plus. Just saying it might tell you something about football philosophies. There's not many of these Ben Arfa types around though. Every manager will have had their struggles with this type of player in their managerial careers. Pardew has shown he can work with flair and play them, doesn't mean to say they have to have a horrible attitude to football to prove himself. Horrible attitude to football? What? Actually wanting to play it properly, you mean?
  9. He's said incredibly similar things numerous times in the past. Like anything that comes out of his mouth, it means nowt.

  11. Areet then, fuck it - tell me a supremely gifted but vaguely challenging player that Pardew has worked well with, built a team with them in mind and not an afterthought when he's in trouble, got the best out of?
  12. Remy? Hardly a flair player tbh. Give over, course he is. Well he's a player with flair who is a piece of p*ss to manage. He even looked handy in that God-awful QPR team last year, in his first half-season in the best league he's ever played in. Well the question wasn't 'name me one flair player who is difficult to manage but Pardew has managed him well?' You got an answer to your question then twist it around and say he's piss easy to manage so that don't count Jesus Christ. Give you an inch, you take a mile. I don't think Remy is a flair player at all, he's just not an absolute oaf a la Shola. I said he had a bit of flair.

  15. Name me one flair player that he's managed well, which includes putting them in the team now and then.
