This certainly doesn't apply to all of their behaviour, but in similar circumstances our fans would be exactly the same. It's an exciting time for them, this is what football's all about, rather than hovering around 8th or 9th patting yourselves on the back for not being in relegation trouble.

If he loses his mind then I'm not sure anyone will notice. None of the other shite he's said has even sparked a ripple of criticism.

Was going to ask if Napoli-Juve was worth watching tonight then looked at the table. Fucking hell, 20 points between 1st and 3rd, another 9 between 1st and 4th.

The more goals they score the more I'd rather they won it. Nice to see a team going out every week blitzing the opposition, playing football the right way with a settled side. Can't stand Chelsea and don't like Man City much more. Shame Arsenal fell away but I'd rather Liverpool won it out of the 3 now.

That was the best one like, totally confirmed his status as random excuse generator. -
Does it not mean profit as in fee received vs fee paid, for specific players?

Does that Lamela ever get a game? Cost 30 million quid, didn't he?

Newcastle not being a middle class enough area to produce good youngsters deserves a place, mind. -

Should start a poll, how many days annual leave will you book when this cunt gets sacked?

You've answered your own question. Reminds me of the 5th season when everyone wanted him in instead of Obertan. Waited three months then picked him against Man City (a), Man Utd (a), Chelsea (h). Dragged him off at half time in the third game then dropped him for the next game against Norwich. That was ridiculous. Then he barely featured until he got himself into the first team with that cameo against the mackems. Even though he'd won us the game against Bolton around Christmas. I'm absolutely miffed by people that say he managed Ben Arfa impeccably that season.

That's the cost of front foot football to be honest mate.

I can see both sides with the Arsenal thing, in many ways they've had it very good indeed - they haven't been outside the top 4 since Wenger took over, they generally play lovely football, etc - but the lack of spending to bring them to that next level must be frustrating. Mental that a club like that has Giroud as their only decent striker. Regardless, what I was going to get at is that banners like that are a disgrace. Wenger deserves more than a little bit of respect from that lot, at least.

The energy thing. It's because we played on Tuesday night then.

Got 2 thirds of it right against Everton tbf. Today was probably 1 sixth but still better than nowt.

How did you rate Pardew today? Did all he could, not his fault, etc? If the players cba to even track their men then what can he do? It's funny like, we were playing against a side that had just as little to play for as us, yet they looked excellent and we looked appalling and it could've ended up 10-0. Our players must be the biggest collection of arseholes in the league. Poor Pards.

"If you take a personality out of the dressing room when you have a small team it's going to have an effect" What?
