  1. What's that based on though? Could just as easily go the way of Duncan Ferguson, can see the similarities myself.
  2. Ribery and Robben in defence, bit risky.
  3. GW33: Man City 1-0 Southampton A.Villa 2-2 Fulham Cardiff 1-1 Crystal Palace Hull 1-0 Swansea Newcastle 0-3 Man Utd Norwich 2-0 West Brom Chelsea 2-0 Stoke Everton 2-2 Arsenal West Ham 1-3 Liverpool Tottenham 2-1 Sunderland
  4. Shame when people have to resort to that like, tut tut.
  5. It seems stranger for Newcastle to exist in some sort of football vacuum, where their situation can't or shouldn't be compared to anyone else.
  6. He would almost definitely say that.
  7. The Anson would be an exercise in massive damage limitation compared to some places. They've got wallpaper and everything in there now.
  8. Really? They knocked it down. Unless they mean where the 11-a-side teams are based, fuck knas where that is though.
  9. Couldn't give the slightest fuck about that like.
  10. I'm with Brett on this. The sooner we can get players like MYM, Anita, HBA, Marveaux, Cisse off our books the better. They've just been an anchor around Pard's neck. He needs to able to choose from players he actually wants so he can shape the team with his own vision in mind! The sad thing is, Pards probably looks at the squads of West Ham and Sunderland with envy. He'd love a team of Mark Noble's and Liam Bridcutt's. When he took over, he had a squad he could work with. Then we flogged them and started to rebuild. That's what doesn't make sense to me. Ashley knew he was flogging off these players so why didn't he pick a manager who could work with Carr's findings in the first place. Just doesn't make sense with Ashley. When Hughton was sacked (correctly), it was the perfect opportunity to upgrade to a top manager and start the rebuilding. I think its pretty clear why like. Why? Because Pardew's his puppet. The guy who wont answer back. He'll get on with the job under all conditions. He'll get all this and Pards will even dedicate a win to him now and again. Why would he want anyone else? Yep, and play down lack of transfer activity, and lessen expectations, and insult the fans, etc. The positives are endless.
  11. Wouldn't be happy working with Cavani: http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/12040/9243522/transfer-news-edinson-cavani-suggests-he-must-leave-psg-if-they-dont-change-their-style
  12. I'd have him back based on ability alone, been put off by his fitness issues since leaving us though. Reckon he'd spend far too much time injured.
  13. Increase our chances of a win if they lose a couple of key players, when a couple of ours might be coming back in? What good will that do, apart from totally extinguishing the pressure on your mate?
  14. Think they said Arsenal the other week was the first time a Mourinho Chelsea side had scored more than 2 first half goals at home, did I hear that right?
  15. About the headbutt? I just said it wasn't really a headbutt and the reaction was OTT. Not that it has any relevance to Allardyce like.
  16. http://metro.co.uk/2014/04/01/are-newcastle-united-currently-the-worst-team-in-the-premier-league-4683548/ (Written from a Southampton fan's perspective. Not really much about us in there tbh. )
  17. Depends if you wanted Coloccini back in the team or not. Their incompatibility is a reason. Wasn't he effectively dropped for Taylor at one point?
  18. Point proven, nee idea why he wasn't starting.
