Definitely tries to do it all on his own far too often, can't work out if that's under instruction or that's the type of player he is but it's similar to an aimless punt in the sense it leads to us losing possession more often than not. He's definitely someone you want in your matchday squad though, just not necessarily keeping proper attackers like Ben Arfa out of the side every week.

After the Stoke result I realised we couldn't win well unless it was impeccable. I think people were just pointing out that it wasn't looking good before a crazy 5 minute period where 2 players got sent off, a penalty was given, we got away with Williamson's handball before scoring, etc. I was at the match and was really pleased with our application second half, but you're always going to get people talking about positives and negatives after a match. Ignoring the fact we looked toothless for 40 minutes then the game turned would be weirder IMO, but everyone's different.

Yeah, it seems strange that we haven't really tried that but we've been here before with Pardew.

I thought Pardew did areet today and didn't have many complaints - I'd have played a different starting 11 (Haidara and Ben Arfa starting) and got Ben Arfa on quicker but I don't think pointing that out means I'm blaming him for the result or whatever. We more than matched the best team in the country for long periods, so fair do's. Said similar after the Arsenal game too really.

Remy seemed like just what we needed when we got him on loan, a forward who was happy playing on the left. Not his fault Cisse's confidence is shot and he's being played in a position where his back's often to goal, which doesn't suit him. If we bought a proper centre forward and stuck Remy on the left I think he'd be areet.

Really? Howay man - you're better than that, that's Brett stuff mate.

More money in the transfer war-chest, Dave.

ITK, please don't take this away from me.

the follow up kick was never meant to do anything but hurt him, I don't sympathize with Nasri as he's a bell end but it should have been a red card Definite red.

He does lose his s*** on the touchline far too frequently, that's a fact. every manager loses their s*** on the touchline, theres bigger things to be worried about He does more than most, and more frequently. Needs to calm down, nobody's saying it's the biggest issue at the club. Surely the only thing that makes him redeemable with that section of fans that consistently back him. I don't mind a manager that shows he is passionate, I quite like it. Probably doesn't do much to help the composure of our players though. I know what you mean but if he's radge all the time he becomes the boy who cried wolf. Bit embarrassing as well, all this bitching and pushing and shoving on the touchline.

Doesn't seem to be playing as instinctively as when he first arrived, over-thinking situations too much and he's a far poorer player when he does that.

injury ended whatever momentum we had and City used the break to reorganize tbh We must be able to see into the future then because our attacking threat levelled off 5-10 minutes before that tackle. The break in play did make matters worse though.

He's a right wheeler dealer like, God knows how he does it.

The Johnstone's Paint Trophy, that's a new one. Fair play.

First 15 minutes we were poor then we started getting in their faces and had the better of the game until around 70 minutes when we seemed to run out of steam. Tbf like, the Tiote goal should have stood and Remy really should have scored once or twice. I didn't like the subs at all and the last 20 minutes were a bit of a write-off as a result.
