Locals, would you miss them? Would miss (winning) the derbies but them getting humiliated would be worth not having them for a few seasons. Another few seasons like last season and I won't even care about them either way, that's how I felt about them when we were doing well under Keegan/Robson. Well I bought a real one last year, I must say also that I'm not particularly impressed that we've jumped on the bandwagon of releasing one every year as it's a completely unnecessary rip-off. More for people with kids and stuff, aye the parents can say no but it's a bit naff that they'll spend a small fortune on something that's old hat in less than a year. If I buy one this year I won't be spending 40 quid on it.

I've given the club plenty of my money over the years and will continue to do so, if I want to save 20 quid this year then it's up to me to be honest.

Well that's true as well yeah, you're not going to make me admit that the conversation surrounding this transfer has not made me contemplate mass genocide because it has. People have been speculating and talking shit and making assumptions and talking about various crazy scenarios for months now regarding Debuchy and it's enough to make you lose your faith in humanity itself, never mind question why so many morons sign up for N-O and insist on posting constantly. That said, another £1.5m should do it imo, fingers crossed we bite the bullet and give them the cash.

What are people's order of priorities if this one falls through then? Although Simpson's the weakest link in the first 11 I think I'd value more depth through the middle of the park than having right back as top priority. Would be a bit disappointing to not strengthen at right back but we have Simpson/Perch/the Taylors/Santon/Jonas who can play there if required. More concerned about lack of first team depth at centre half, up front and central midfield if I'm honest.
