Can't believe we're in this position where we might have to look at substandard free agents again, no excuse for it whatsoever. At the start of the season I thought Coloccini's nearly always fit, Taylor and Williamson are prone to the odd injury - let's hope the latter 2 aren't out at the same time and Coloccini retains his excellent fitness record. It was always going to be dodgy though, I'd like to see us take Bassong and one other in January. Bassong's versatility is an additional bonus that would do us good, could play him in either full back position at a push if needed. And like someone else said, by January I mean the start of January.

Phillips fucked him over as well, said something like "I played with him for a while and he's a confident lad, sometimes that confidence is more like arrogance", just basically suggesting he's a problem in the dressing room and has probably fell out with McCarthy, hence the reason he's been dropped.

He managed to fit in "or should I say Sports Direct Arena" but the funny thing was (re Sunderland) "they'd be happy to finish 4th bottom every year if they won the 2 derbies, that's what they're like up there". Where is this? Coverage for the Wolves game? Aye, that's right.

Get Balotelli on the next draw please. Anyway Blackburn at home's not bad at all, would be very disappointed not to get through that. When are the games anyway? -

He covered Li Tie's arse first time around like, just ignored him and looked at the ball. -

Someone on the Guardian podcast was speculating that he's got a lot of marketing clout behind him and it's not that difficult to believe. Funny though. -
I'm not keen on it either but there's nothing stopping him, there's no rule that you can't compliment other teams' players.

Are you into fishing? No more than you are you into making sense -
Nothing exciting, he was questioned on it before. Ran in to a door or something, can't remember exactly what but it wasn't anything good like a fight with a shark or being kicked in the face with a knifeboot in football. I see, cheers.

It's alright lads, these decisions get people talking in the pub and that.

Sturridge really needs to improve his finishing, it's not the first time I've seen him be very wasteful. Can only recall one wasteful opportunity when he ran onto a ball over the top and should have buried it but hit straight at Krul who dived to collect. The rest was a combination of excellent defending (to put him off) and excellent goalkeeping imo. See, I thought he had 4 or 5 proper chances and although Krul did well to save a few Sturridge didn't make it that difficult for him. Mostly along the ground and close to the keeper or not even on target. Doesn't exactly look clinical. -
What's the story with Alan Hansen's Omar scar, always wondered. Obviously not enough to Google it.
