  3. He's already had an appearance off the bench for N.Ireland http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/internationals/8087413.stm That was in an experimental B squad. Not a competitve game either so does not cap-tie him. .co.uk must have it wrong too then.

  5. Why bother? All it suggests to me is that Dalglish is hunting bargain buys or has a pathetic obsession with players we are chasing similar to Steve Bruce. KIlgallon? How did that one work out Brucie? Forgot about him. Is Kilgallon still on Sunderland's books? He had a decent run for about a third of last season and then became a forgotten man. He's on loan at Doncaster now. Shame. Edit: Had a check and found he has only played 17 senior games since his move from Blades. Ruined his career to be honest. 2nd Edit: Only played 7 games for Sunderland so his run was certainly less than a third of a season.
  6. Absolutely phenomenal. Well deserved goal for Phillips.

  8. Looking forward to seeing Simpson on the wing. This season so far, his runs up the pitch overlapping Barton have been promising. His crosses are also more consistent compared to Gutierrez. Our best option at RM at the moment, and one which doesn't fill me with dread.

  10. We weren't in it in 08/09 either. We were 20th in last year's list. Not according to the table in this report. Perhaps they used preliminary figures in the 2010 report. Were our accounts published by the time the report was produced? In Jan 09 Llambias was predicting revenues of £100m. When the accounts came out though the reported revenue was only £86m, so we obviously didn't do very well against the forecasts in the remainder of the reporting period, missing out on an important £14m payment from somewhere. http://www.deloitte.com/view/en_GB/uk/industries/sportsbusinessgroup/d039400401a17210VgnVCM100000ba42f00aRCRD.htm
