This should be a good opportunity for Ireland to show us if he has retained any of his talent during his Citeh days. It was going to be tough for him to make a big impact on the game against ManU with a combination of their defenders closing him down quickly and heavy passes from the others. If we stick with our current game plan, seeing Ireland coming off the bench, I can see Nolan coming in for Guthrie with an otherwise unchanged line-up.

Considering how we stand in the league at the moment, maybe it would be fair to give Krul a run as our No.1 till the end of the season. At his age, he will be learning much more per game than sitting on the bench and waiting for sporadic appearances such as this one. The pressure to win won't be as strong as before so it would give him a decent amount of practice without compromising the club's status if he does make a mistake or two. Much rather he make these mistakes now rather than at the beginning or midway into a season.

You could tell he was really into the game with his work rate being a highlight. As mentioned, he did have a legitimate claim to have won us a penalty but that open header he had was our best chance - he really should have buried it. I have to say that I'm beginning to liken Lovenkrands to Smith-lite. Exceptional work rate but not offering much else.

It's an utter shame that Kazenga picked up that injury earlier in the season at Brighton. Would have been a good confidence boost for the lad ala Forster at Norwich. Wasn't he highly rated over there as well?

I would imagine the last game of the season would have the team wearing it ? Traditionally it is usually worn during the last home game of the season. That being said, it also depends on when the club decide to announce the new kit. For example, last season didn't see the kit launch until a month or so before this season.

It just doesn't seem right to blame Harper for that goal. He was wrong-footed (and somewhat justified considering the trajectory of the ball) at the time, and Collins got a devilish connection with the ball at quite a sharp angle. Even with that in mind, he was quite close to tipping it out considering where he was placed. It was a decent effort but he was just unlucky there.

I have to say that Williamson has been a brilliant catch for the club. We turned our back on large transfer fees and stupid wages and we were rewarded with a player like Williamson. He has performed relatively well since we signed him and has certainly repaid the fee which we paid to Pompey. Compared to some of the centre backs at our rival clubs, Willi is miles apart and I'm sure that his partnership with Colo can keep us tight at the back for seasons to come.

I'm chuffed to bits seeing some of our reserve players step up into the first team and put in some good shifts. Shows the club really wants to develop our youth, and save some dough for the future. Confident that Fergie will be our first choice backup LB/LW for years to come.

I suppose the agreement not to broadcast all the matches would also cover online subscriptions as well. As well as getting all 380 live games over here, the channel which broadcasts the matches also have an online service to watch games on your computer live.

That's a very interesting question you have brought up Ridman, and certainly one which has intrigued me recently. Over here, they pretty much show every single Premier League game live. Obviously for every game there's a set of British commentators but why do they bother if no-one in the UK is watching the game live legally (obviously excluding 'televised' matches)? Are they just there for shows like MOTD and the replays during the news? Down-right bizarre.
