By the letter of the law it is a penalty. His hand and arm was in an unnatural position.

Always amazes me how these mega fans of the sky 6 have these watch along instead of actually, you know attending the games.
-
Waiting for that to be given when it’s not Liverpool.

He had possibly 2 good seasons with Liverpool, then was injured for a season, had a poor season afterwards, then got away with elbowing people last season and they say he’s the best CB of all time.
-
How are the Liverpool fans going to spin this so VVD doesn’t look back and can still go down as the best CB ever?
-
So we need 2 midfielders, at the very least 1 forward (assuming Isak stays), alongside Thaiw.

I thought your bumping of this thread was one.
-
They’ll point to the fact that he only has 1 year left on his contract now, so his value has dropped.

The cheap striker has signed for Leeds.
-
If they don’t, the surely that is an easy route out of PSR for everyone.

How long do you think that is sustainable for Man Utd? Whilst you win cup competitions your neighbours with Man City and Liverpool are winning Premier League and Champions League titles. The next generation of foreign fans are not becoming Man Utd fans, so your global appeal is weakening and will continue to do so in future. You have massive overheads, and prize money for the competitions that you have won is not enough to cover them. Liverpool just had a 700% increase on their record shirt launch day since their new deal with Adidas has been signed. Man City have signed a record shirt sponsorship deal Puma. Keep going the way you are going, and the PSR that you thought would protect you may very well come round and drop kick you right in the balls.

No idea, word is the person in charge is a massive Liverpool fan. I think we have had similar problems with a players work permit in the past, and a board member. I think they have so long to approve it and they take as long as possible as they are allowed, otherwise the club are able to appeal in a court of law.

Most areas we haven’t seen, but they have created both the Barracks and Wings corporate area, as well as refurbishing other corporate facilities. The concourses have had a lick of paint, and the stadium gangways have had that horrible screening taken off that the groundsman had to put down with a mop. The club store has been totally renovated, and they have bought the Strawberry land and put on the stack fanzone there.

I’m not sure what much more they could do when the home office are delaying giving the new CEO a work permit, and Nottingham Forest won’t release their DOF until the transfer window has closed.
-
Which is my point. If Howe felt that they wee not bothered anymore, he would walk. Let’s face it, if a top 6 club has a bad season this season, Howe will be near the top of their list for a new manager. He could go anywhere now really.

Man Utd don’t have a new training ground. They have redecorated elements of their current training ground. The focus of their video and pictures is on a staircase which looks like light laminate wood from an old peoples home furniture set, a canopy in the car park that looks like an airport express pick up point, and an MDF lattice ceiling from a 1970’s shopping centre. There is a lack of images of the actual gyms and facilities, and what you do see isn’t anything that anyone else doesn’t have. Spurs, Leicester, and probably even Bournemouths new training centres are all better.

False news, the UEFA fine is actually deductible from PSR.

Safari won’t translate it, so can’t read it, but they mention Liverpool a bit, so am I right in guessing they are pissed that we won’t drive Isak to Liverpool and give them £150 for the privilege of having him for the last 3 years?

Everton’s new stadium has an Amazon Fresh like kiosk where you scan your card to get in, then take what you want including alcohol that has already been pre-poured/bottom filled. I think it’s a pretty good idea, and would potentially limit queues, particularly at half time. As much as I think internally their stadium is bland, I do like the steepness that they have, you can only really see it when it’s full of people in the stands. There are elements of the stadium we should be implementing to be honest.

Ryanair flight was only £9, but by the time he wanted to take a carryon it was going to cost us another £40m.

Every Adidas team will have their own version, a few posts up from yours shows that we ourselves have a number of different versions.

What’s the deal with the new San Siro? What will be the capacity? Are you still going for a joint stadium with Inter over separate stadiums? What would fans prefer?
-
I reckon if you offered €60n they would go for it.

Pre-season (2026/27): NUFC to play Everton at Murrayfield on 12/08/26

No Bruno, no Schar/Burn, and Livramento played on the left with Trippier on the right, and Hall on the bench.
