The Carroll sale started the year off badly however it got better. Good displays and shows of passion for the team like the comeback from going 4-0 down against Arsenal to draw 4-4 is the stand out game. We went a very long time unbeaten and last season we were unlucky/foolish not to finish in the top 10. This season has started very well, injuries has seen our form be hit and our last couple of games has shown it can affect confidence. The talent though we know is there however we are continuing to get frustrated. The fact that so far Carroll has not really done much at liverpool, we have got rid of players who were ageing and letting their mouths go and have brought in better replacements. All in all this year has been very good, yes it's fizzling out at the moment but we have to be delighted how well it has been.

I can just imagine it all goes well at BA has scored the first goal, we are winning 3-0 then you ask for a WBA goal then all of a sudden we draw 3-3.

Say for example Leeds could afford £10k per week for 6 months, would you take that £10k a week and pay him £50k a week instead? 6 months is 21 weeks, 21 times £10k is £210k. Thats nearly quarter of a million. I'd rather take the £10k a week and save ourselves all that money.

Well obviously I wasn't being serious when I said 10p, fucking hell man.

It's going to be called either Virgin Money or Virgin Bank. The takeover is still going to go ahead despite an inquiry over its sale which means the inquiry itself is pointless because the sale will be complete by the time the inquiry has finished. Your right though that we still have until summer, this only means that Puma can't take our sponsor into consideration with our shirt design and that it will basically be a case of just sticking the sponsor over the shirt.

He's shit, he's not going to get a game for us, take as much in the way of wages we can just to minimise as much as we can the amount in wages we pay him.
-
I fancy him to get a goal or 2 today.
-
The guy is obviously not going to play a game for us again so I would be just saying to Leeds give us what you can in wages and you can have him on loan for 6 months, even if it's 10p a week.

I think that if we had a 4-4-1-1 formation with Ben Arfa linking the midfield with Ba then it will cause some damage to WBA. Ben Arfa though he isn't back to his best yet he can still play some bloodily good balls into people and it could be a case of him playing some balls behind their defence for Ba or maybe even for Obertan and Jonas to come inside and run onto.

Come off it man. Why should he be allowed to play football again? If it was an Olympic athlete racially abusing people in their chosen sport then they would be banned for life, why should a footballer be any different? If it was me at work I would be sacked on the spot, not be allowed to enter my workplace ever again and quite possibly be given a bad name in my references thus pretty making sure I would never get a job in my industry ever again. A footballer shouldn't be any different.

Might have read it wrong but some bloke on there was talking about leaving the league. Go on Liverpool, fuck off. Theirs a nice league not that far away where similar scenes happen week in week out, it's called the SPL, you will fit right in there.

To be honest an 8 game ban is disgusting, it's not long enough. If he's guilty he shouldn't really be allowed to step foot on a football pitch again. His fine is shocking as well, again it's not nearly enough.
-
He doesn't stay up on his feet all that often in anyway.
-
Depending on how long Liverpool take to appeal, how long the FA take to make a decision etc then yes he could still end up playing against us.

Shearer turned down the Cardiff job, if he didn't fancy that job (being manager of one of the promotion favourites) then I doubt he would go to blackburn who are lets face it down. They have 22 games left and they need to win 10 of those to even get to 40 points. I can't actually look at a game that they have remaining and see them winning any. Evens games against the likes Wigan I can see them getting a draw at best. Theirs a good chance Samba and Hoilett will be gone in January, anyone know if Yakubu will be at the ACN? Even if Kean is sacked now I can't see them getting out of the mess their in.
-
Didn't he turn them down when Fat Sam was sacked?

Why laugh?, most of those are playing in cup games against lower league opposition. Just because it's 14 teams, highly unlikely as shown by the odds. Worth it for £1 though. Even I think those odds are high, 14 teams or not it's pretty high., most teams are evans or odds on.

Nah, fans are outside the ground refusing to leave until he's been sacked.

I'd still fancy that team to be able to beat Norwich. When we signed Santon am I right in thinking there was something mentioned about him being able to cover the CB positions if needed?
-
Thats my point, others on here seem to be suggesting that just settling for safety now should be the aim.
-
Injuries or no injuries, we have a great set of fixtures until the Liverpool game in order to gain plenty of points and go into the new year either safe or pretty much safe and using the 2nd half of the season to challenge as high as we can.

You do realise theres a reason for it being 5083/1 dont you? Delighted with the win ive just had. Had Braga -2. Scored 2 in the last minute to win me £36! More chance of that coming off then buying a lottery ticket. I'll bet you £100 there's more chance of me buying a lottery ticket than you winning your bet. Deal? I was meant to say a winning lottery ticket.
