  1. The question is will Tiote, Barton, and nolan be tough in midfield, or will they let Arsenal play around them? Had it been Guthrie, Smith (though he's out) etc, the I would have said Arsenal will just play around us, but out midfield strength gives me a little bit of hope.
  2. To be fair, Stoke are pointing a gun to it.
  3. 20 odd mins Aye, the score thing came up just as I made that post.
  4. Just a matter of time for this Stoke goal. How longs left?
  5. Where the fuck has the score and time gone on the Sunderland reserves vs Sunderland game gone?
  6. I'm not worried about Carroll being missing, more about how much his leaving has effected the morale of the squad. We started well at Fulham but went down with barely a whimper by the end. How much do you think moral would have went down when it was said he could be out for 8 weeks?

    Monument Mall

Debenhams also has a Puma/NUFC section.
  8. Fucking hell man, don't any of you realise that even if Carroll was here he wouldn't be playing today in anyway? Also by the looks of yesterdays repots, he may miss half of the remaining games in anyway.

    Monument Mall

So does that mean the Eldon Sq Northumberland st store will be the only one in the city centre apart from the ground . Yeah but remember, most clubs only have one store, at the ground, some might have a city centre store. We will still have 3 stores within Tyneside.

    Monument Mall

Monument mall's management always surprises at how incapable they are of doing their job. The old Boots store has been empty for years with no one coming to an agreement for the place, the old Virgin Megastore (now Peacocks) took ages for them to get a tenant despite it having a main entrance on Northumberland street, that alone should have seen it snapped up within a month or so. I've recently heard that a few years ago they rejected the idea of turning the whole mall into a massive NEXT because they were "unsure". The NUFC store in the mall has a weird layout, and isn't exactly huge, so I struggle to see anyone willing to snap it up fast, especially when they have a better layout store where Boots used to be thats been available for about 5 years.
  11. We haven't seen enough of HBA playing for us to say he's the best, but he does have talent to be. N'Zogbia stagnated after his first season here, had so much potential so it was a shame to see it go to waste really. I never really saw Ginola, I was too young at the time. Robert on his day was just amazing for me, and also knowing that so long as we had a freekick in the oppositions half, it had a chance of going in. He frustrated the hell out of me when he wasn't up to it though. Spurs and Liverpool must have hated him though.
  12. Also, wouldn't this allow us to view other countries football easier? Then again the subject wouldn't stop just at football.
  13. I'm pretty sure that if Ben Arfa is back in time then he will be played upfront. Basically it's up to our midfield to not only create goals but score them, keep them coming Nolan, Barton, and anyone else who wants to chip in.
  14. We usually perform pretty well against Arsenal, obviously they're favourites and everyone is down about last night's debacle though. Debacle ? - howay man. We were poor and got beat 1-0 by a decent Fulham side. First half was pretty equal, we couldn't hold it up front second half and it looked grim but only a piece of chronic defending stopped us getting a draw. Poor yes - but compared to some of the stuff we've seen in the last few years I'd call it a narrow defeat not a "debacle", Logical, well thought out, non-kneejerk response alert! I'd go with it being close, but Fulham themselves were poor as well. Kneejerk response as you say. I've only seen a few games this season where we have played badly, and in the next game we have came out and done well again, we haven't played badly anymore than any other average team this season.
  15. This team have shown that whatever is thrown at them they can come back from it. Carroll wasn't going to play in this game in anyway, so hopefully his transfer won't have any effect of the game.
  16. If you count how much money they have got from Torres and Babel, then they have made profit and in effect spent f*** all. Make me laugh that these Liverpool fans think their new owners are digging deep into their pockets when in fact the have walked away with more money. did they get torres and babel for nowt like ? They didn't own Liverpool when they bought them.

Make me laugh that these Liverpool fans think their new owners are digging deep into their pockets when in fact the have walked away with more money. I wish we made a net spend of £0 Our hands were tied, Carroll wanted to go, the board maybe are just as bad for accepting the transfer request instead of explaining that it was too late to get anyone in and he could go in the summer if he really wanted too. If this transfer happened a little earlier in the window then someone would have came in, even if it was some unknown from some spanish village.
