  1. 50-55? You think we will win another 5 games?? f*** a duck. If we win 3 i will be pleased and think we will stay up. Its not that hard to believe. To be fair, our next 6 games are games we could get all 3 points out of if we play to our best. We arn't going to win all 6 of them, but we do have a pretty decent run in.
  2. In January time I said the key games for us after Wigan and West Ham are Birmingham home and away, Wolves, and Blackpool. These are the game we must win, and if we can't win then we must not lose. As it happens we have gained a few creditable draws in the last few games which helps us. But 3 wins from those 4 games is a must.
  3. Is the Australian league becoming the new MLS?

    Sunderland...

I'd like to know what his definition of success is. Imagine if Ashley said he despises us? Riot inducing. No there not, its free entry to a pub, the drinks are cheaper and you can sup 4 pints during one match then head home. Much cheaper then going to watch premier league football. Prices are to high. End of. Sunderland's ticket prices are much lower than ours. Anyway he is right, how many people will actually go to the pub just to watch the scores come in at 3pm, or games on a foreign channel? Most of them will come in before hand to get a good place at the bar, or even watch the early KO, then some will stay for a fe more pints, and often will watch the late KO. In most cases people will spend about the same price as a match ticket at the pub if not more.
  5. Random. Don't know if you've been before but the Keepmoat is shit. Proper out of town flatpack job. I have family there who I'm going to see. Anyway a friend of mine lives there, Celtic fan originally from Glasgow. We agreed to go to a Newcastle game or two when we were in the Championship because a few away games where near Doncaster. That never happened so we are off to see Doncaster. As far as I recall, the Keepmoat isn't that far out of the town centre, infact it's located next to the Cinema which can't get into the town centre because of the lack of space. It's one of those flatpack jobs, but Donny Rovers were only a Conference side a few years ago, so not bad for them.
  6. I've just woken up from a dream where it was pretty shit for the first 20 minutes or so, then we go 2-0 up in a couple of minutes thanks to Shola. The 2nd is a screamer. I don't know how it finishes as my alarm clock woke me up.
  7. I wish WBA would pick a league and stick with it. Anymore antics and they should be forced to join the SPL.
  8. This. It just doesnt seem right to me that any team moves away from their home ground. Maybe im just going soft....... I couldn't give a fuck to be honest. We are fortunate in the fact that we don't need to move away from SJP, and if we need to we can expand to just over 60k which at this day and age is towards the upper end of realistic capacity expectation in football. If the West Ham owners want to move away then so be it. If the trend continues, with clubs opting for the generic knock it up as quick as a McDonald's stadiums, and in West ham's case, the Olympic stadium with a running track, then stadiums like SJP will tend to have more character, and more intimidation. In the long run it can only benefit us. On a side note, this is overshadowing what Wolves are going to do, rebuild each stand at their current stadium in phases, similar to what we done at SJP. We had the right idea, Man Utd had the right, and now Wolves are having the right idea in keeping our traditional stadium and expanding them instead of opting for the new out of town stadium.
  9. Nah, my mam a while ago asked ITV if they could sell her a copy of a Drama she missed, and they weren't going to release it on DVD or even replay it. They said they could give her a DVD of it but it would cost, she told them to fuck off when they told her how much. Anyway, I figured that if the did it for drama's, then they could do it for football games which they still own the rights for.
  10. Can't you get someone to transfer the footage onto a DVD? On a side note, I've now been waiting 2 years for a response from ITV about purchasing a DVD of the Feyenoord game, still no response.
  11. Smith's contract is up at the end of next year isn't it?, just wondering. I was kind of hoping it is the end of this year.
  12. Not a game today, but it looks like I'm going to see Doncaster vs Watford on the last weekend of the month.
  13. So long as we can gain possession in midfield we should be ok. I think Blackburn's midfield is pretty weak, (Hoillet aside).
  14. Sir/lord/Dick head Alan Suger spouting his sour grapes on TV, first it was BBC news, now it's on SSN.
  15. Is that them celebrating us going down?, also known as Sunderland's biggest moment.
  16. A good decision, now lets hope West Ham will have to pay some sort of rent. Also isn't it also an option for England's NFL team to be based?, if we ever get one that is. The London silly Nannies? Yeah, staring Peter Griffin. Wouldn't it be amazing if Family guy did an episode in which it was revealed that Peter Griffin and Nick Griffin were brothers?
  17. They should be forced to apologise to the players for not having belief in them and to only be part time fans.

  19. He's only got 26 assists for his whole career.

    Season Tickets

We are not being moved along. We are being moved to another part of the stadium, and being charged over £120 for the privilege. We also were moved, without having any choice in the matter 3 years ago. Would you be happy with having to fork out over £120 and at this stage not knowing where you were going to sit? Has it actually been said that you will be charged £120 more?, have you actually got a letter through the door?

    Season Tickets

Isn't it good that more younger fans and families are being encouraged to go to more games and the amenities for that is being created. So a few people have to move or sit with kids, whats wrong with being further along level instead? So you aren't right next to the away fans, whats the problem with that?, of course people are going to be upset about moving but wouldn't you want more fans for the future? Now lets keeping looking at the bigger picture, fans are being offered the chance to take up a season ticket with no increase for 10 years, 10 YEARS! Not only that but those you went during the Championship season will get 10% off, thats a pretty good deal.
