We only own the stadium, we don’t own the land. Aside from scrap metal, there won’t be much to sell.
-
Eh? Building it wouldn’t impact our PSR. Might as well just build it and rake in the money from matches and other events.
-
The guy who owns the houses behind also somehow owns a small strip of land outside the turnstiles. He’s just trying to be awkward in the hopes that our owners end up buying it off him for what I presume will be a massively inflated fee.

Spurs and Arsenal were still limited by site size. In Arsenals case they built their stadium 20 years ago, if they were to do it today they would go bigger. Man City are in the process of expanding. Liverpools plans is to have a 70k-80k seater that they are doing in stages. Man Utd are wanting to get as close to 100k as they can. Aston Villa want a 50k-60k stadium and have even put that on hold to determine if their upturn in form and demand holds. West Han have a 60k+ stadium, Everton will have a 52k stadium next year, and they are on the doorstep to Liverpool.

It’s going to cost billions, not a couple of hundred million. Even if we do stay at SJP, it will have nothing of what it currently does.

Not really. We already know that the feasibility report is due, and that was before Man Utd started talking about a new stadium. They are trying to prepare the fans for news, and might be trying to appease those who may not agree with what the decision is. We have also parked our tanks on the Premier Leagues lawn. ‘We know that Man Utd want to build a new stadium, we know that currently there is no rules preventing us from spending a fuck load of money on a new stadium, don’t try to bring in rules to prevent that’.

This, it has to be in the city centre.

The I is usually behind a paywall. I had to view it on Apple News.

I’ll be honest, if we can get Castle Leazes, or to a lesser extend the arena site (can still be bought if we give the Home office an alternative), then I would be dissapointed if we stayed at SJP if it means we can’t extend as much as we hope, and there would be too many compromises.

I honestly doubt he gets that much engagement to make any sort of meaningful money though.

I wonder if Will is another Burnsie account, and he has used the name Will to try and put people off the scent. Does he always misuse there, they’re, and their?

£5.3m by my rough calculation, plus his wages.

Was scapegoated like Miggy. Said that his end product wasn’t good enough, people wanted him gone etc. He got cancer and all of a sudden everyone’s attitude stated to change, scored that goal at the end of the season, often credited with us staying up and him being a saviour, but we were already winning, and the other result was going our way, so we were safe regardless. Add on top that he took Ashley to court over being pushed out of the club because he had cancer and all of a sudden people make out like he was always a fan favourite.

SSN have had fuck all to go on all summer, and fuck all last January. They will milk any sniff of a deal anywhere. They are barely a step up from Talk Sport who literally make things up.

Looks like something Football Town would make.

We are, our shirts, and also some of our additional pre-match/training merchandise is available in Adidas stores world wide. Only elite teams get that commercial support. We maybe Elite-, but we are elite.

Can’t treat adults like the tracksuit family treat their naughty kids. He’ll not last long at Bayern acting like that. They will either force him out, or someone will thump him.

That’s Thursday at 8pm I believe. Isn’t it 24 hours before the first fixture of the weekend?

They released that video ages ago.

Yeah, I think they just want to be in the WSL as soon as possible though. They are constantly changing how you get in. A few years ago Man Utd were nowhere near it and got offered a place in it (so did we, but Ashley turned it down). Other teams like Doncaster Belles were kicked out and booted further down the pyramid. They’ll end up buying younger players who can break through at a later date. Right now though there is no limit on women’s football, so they are in a position where they can buy their way to the top, which they can’t do with the means team.

Not really, he was given a contract and he is entitled to stay and see it out. He doesn’t need the Saudi money, and so far nowhere else has offered him an opportunity. I’m sure he would go back to the USA, or go back home, but none of those clubs could afford him. If anything it’s more like having a wife, then wanting to get with the new lads at work, trying to push your wife out of the house but she’s not moving until she gets the 50% or so she’s entitled too. If you want to go and make analogies about it.

A laminated flat A4 menu does not scream ‘platinum’ to me.

If you get a decent pay, and presumably expenses for travelling, then it’s a dream job for any fan. Imagine getting paid to follow Newcastle.

They are also rumoured to be going to get Zaha back as well. An absolutely backwards step from them if they do. If they invest the money well, then they could actually really push on. Going back to Zaha being their only decent player will just push them back towards fighting relegation, and to be honest if they don’t invest the money, they would absolutely deserve it. The first sign of hope they have had since coming into the Premier League, and they are prepared to piss it up the wall. I expect nothing less from their owner though, an absolute fucking tosser who has fooled everyone into thinking he’s a fan when in reality he’s in it for the money.
