Sorry like, but when Sky and Talk Sport presenters do that, or ‘Breaking news coming up/after the break’ then it’s nothing news. They will break breaking news as soon as they get, everything else is filler and designed to keep you watching/listening.

Never seen him play, but I think Guehi is both over priced, and over rated. So if we got this guy for less, then could get a RW in, I’m all for it.
-
I love Rafa, but I’m not going to sit though a Liverpool love in.
-
In all fairness to him, and I dislike him massively, both times he said something, he was in public. The 1st one was when he was at the Premier League meeting and they asked him that along with other questions. The 2nd time he was on TalkSport and was talking more about the clubs finances and the new stadium.

You’d imagine we would start coming under the Newcastle United football group. Wasn’t Staveley supposed to be involved in negotiations for some of the clubs?

One thing I have always thought that Newcastle needs is an outdoor Amphitheatre. If Scarborough can have one, why not Newcastle? It would be ideal either in Exhibition Park, or where SJP currently stands.

Every EFL Cup fixture is live on Sky.

Dermot Gallagher on SSN is a disgrace. He’s saying Schars is a red, Diaz for the same offence isn’t. Going all around the houses to justify why one is, and the other isn’t. He then says the throat hold in the Arsenal game isn’t a red card. What is the fucking point in him being on this show. Might as well have a little banner as every decision is made in each game saying ‘Dermot Gallagher approves of the referees decision’.

Nah, but they will use the findings to put the argument across to fans, and be working on how to keep Ethal at bay.

Just seen this, absolutely amazing. It could have been easy to sticking with it about being the players, coaching staff, and the fans. This was very apt though, and I think it will be very well appreciated by them. -
Seen the fucking challenge for it. Guy goes flying in with his elbow.

Reims vs Lille is currently in the 70th minute, of the first half.

I have already said this, but Diaz will be a cunt to others. He will end up winding himself up with others who do not bite, or others will bite and target him in hard tackles, where he will turn invisible in future games. It’s so fucking transparent, and that makes it more annoying that Schar fell for it.
-
I hope we got into Diaz’s face in the tunnel after the game. I would have been asking him how he missed that opportunity and such, hoping he would flip in front of everyone.

I think there difference between going down to waste a little time, and going down to get a man sent off. 1 is a yellow card, the other should be a red. For us, we actually got loads of yellow cards last season for time wasting, yet I never really saw it for other teams, thanks a lot Klopp.

Alan Smith man, how has he not been peddled. Saying Paqueta should be booked for that, but saying the same foul wasn’t a penalty.
-
You have to allow me some tongue in cheek comments.

Soft, but they showed 1 angle where his foot does take him out. It’s accidental though. They have backed themselves into a corner of not overturning now by saying it has to blatant error. It means VAR will become redundant, and only offsides will rules out penalties.

I’m glad that I’m not the only one who’s noticed it. He’s the sort of bloke who when he walks into a pub, everyone else gives a sigh of contempt.

Always seems to get a big game as well.

Aye. We were poor but you could tell that we were going to get a hold of the game and strangle them. It was going to be one of those ‘decent starts by the underdog, before losing what turns out to be a comfortable game for the opposition’ games. The red card, and the referee ensured that wasn’t to be the case though. As I say, they’ll go down and not even put up any reasonable fight to stay up. They are probably worse now they they were when they went down.
-
Everyone does, I think even Everton fans want too at this point.

1-0 down. They have made signings, but the only one who I’d take out of them all is Wan-Bissaka, £15m is one hell of a deal. We should have sold Trippier for him.

It was down to his England duty. I said before the Euro’s that I’d rather our players not go. They needed a rest, and the ones going with England were never going to play. He only came back the other week and hasn’t had a long enough rest, nor a long enough pre-season. Almost like Southgate did it to unsettle our squad due to being under the impression that he was getting the Man Utd job.

If they can’t beat a team who went down to 10 men, who couldn’t get the ball without being pulled back for a foul, and actually didn’t create that many problems despite the possession stats, then they are fucked and going down. I said earlier that their attitude will get them screwed as the season goes on. Diaz will end up being a target for the hard tackles, and he’ll quickly lose his cocky attitude and regress to being invisible. Other players will get the yellow cards and the 2nd yellows. Tackles like the one on Gordon which they did as soon as they went a goal down will be straight reds. On paper today they were the better team according to the stats, and they still got fucking found out. Turns out they only got promoted because Leeds like to fucking bottle it.
