I know that their arse has fell out in the last few games, but I honestly think they’ll go up. I think the only team they couldn’t beat would have been Burnley. Of course it would be hilariously funny if Coventry knock them out, or they lost in the final again. If they do come up though I couldn’t really give a fuck. Real Sociedad might have no European football at all next season, so I could see them being tempted by an offer which wouldn’t be as much as what a Premier League club would want for one of their players. In terms of property, the Rueben brothers own about 20% of Newcastle City Centre. They owned an area of the city that has long been forgotten about and neglected. I think in the wider context they wanted leverage in order to push through what they wanted to do, not that I think they would have needed it. I also think most of it is lead by Jamie, he see’s what everyone else see’s. Football wealth is going to explode as soon as a direct to consumer streaming deal is allowed and potentially the end of the 3pm KO’s. Not to mention if some sort of ESL or closed Premier League ever happens. I also think unlike his father and uncle, he has more of an ego that needs to filled.
