Personally, I think they are downplaying the vanity project thing. If there was no PSR rules, they would be splashing whatever cash they have to buy us everything we need. We have already heard that they were angered by the lack of activity on the summer, and we are apparently getting a £1bn-£4bn stadium. Manager wise, there isn’t really a reason to sack Howe right now and for it not to look a bit kneejerk/harsh. On top of that, who would replace him? I honestly think when Pep leaves Man City, then they will make a move for him, I’m not saying we will get him, but make a move for him. It’s amazing what a bad result, and some click bait articles from well known pot stirring journalists will do to people on here in terms of negativity.

It wasn’t Staveley, the texts are there to be seen. The leaks came from Ashley’s side, and someone who had to be included in the deal between Ashley, the club, and Staveley. Honestly, it reads like it was Lee Charnley.

What’s more amazing is that he titles the article, and starts it off by suggesting that the Premier League should investigate our ownership because of a lack of separation. He then ends the article suggesting they could sell us to buy another Premier League club. It’s either a fucking issue, or it’s fucking not. The thing is though, I guess this article isn’t written for me or other NUFC fans. We know the details, we know they are about to announce building a new stadium for somewhere between £1bn-£4bn, we know they have just brought in a director who’s background is in land acquisition for this, we know that they are in the process of replacing Eales due to his illness, etc. This is written for your Man Utd, Arsenal, and Liverpool fans who need something to feel good about. The article might as well be titled ‘Want to feel good about the Newcastle takeover, here’s some straws for you to clutch’. If Migual Delaney is an award winning reporter, then he must be sweating under the pressure that the guys at the Lad Bible are coming to take his awards off him.

So it took them a year and a half with a legal challenge to buy us, and they are going to sell us to buy another Premier League team? Aye right, because they are well up for that. The added bit about Barcelona as well, anyone who knows anything about football knows that you can’t buy Barcelona. Who next? The Green Bay Packers?

Leeds, Nottingham Forest, and Aberdeen are getting Adidas Spezial stuff, including trainers on Friday.
-
The new club shop at SJP is opening on Friday apparently.

MBS hasn’t been convicted of any crime, and has had state visits to the U.K. in recent years.
-
Exactly. ’Got you!’ ’On what? Doing something that there was no rules against, but the Premier League let you believe there was just to avoid the questions of why there was no rules against it, and to pacify it, and for 3 years you have been praying for this moment because you were gullible enough to fall for it’.
-
Thing is though, as we found out a few weeks ago due to Man City’s case against the Premier League. There was deliberately no rule preventing state ownership of clubs for 3 years before our takeover (on the expectation/hope a top 6 club got the takeover). The Premier League can kick and fucking scream all they want about separation, there was no rules preventing that, and I believe still isn’t. If there is, then it would actually be against U.K. competition law. MBS could have paid the money out of his private bank account, and registered the company to his palace if he wanted. It means sod all. The separation stuff was just guff from the Premier League to say that they tried to prevent the takeover, and the gullible fans, and press lapped it up. They’ll use this thinking they have caught us falling foul, without coming to the realisation that they fell for the take to pacify them.

Just to be a cunt. Also possibly because she is rumoured to be facilitating investment into Spurs, so it casts a shadow over her. I honestly can’t wait until Ashley buys another club to focus on being a cunt too.
-
It looks like the goal Shelvey tried to score for us so many time.
-
Leak came from Ashley’s team, surprise fucking surprise, always, and forever a cunt. Anyway, does it matter? There wasn’t, and I still think no rules preventing a nation state from owning a club. We already know number 10 were involved with it.

They lost the game against Durham late, and then dropped the points against today late on. It seems that they may have a problem seeing games out, probably due to 2/3 years of pretty much wrapping up games long before the end of the match. That Durham game was just frustrating. They had all the chances to win it, they should have had the game finished by half time, but they just seemed to be determined to lose the game. Constantly messing up chances, then just giving them the ball late on. They shouldn’t be in any trouble this season, but there are clubs who just get the job done in this league, so I can’t see them going up. Maybe if there were 2 clubs going up, they could sneak in there. It seems it will be a season of consolidation.

I wouldn’t be too hard on yourselves. From the pictures I saw, it looks like a Toon bow tie. Could be a new product, that could gain some Wor Flags revenue.

I don’t understand. It’s not allowed in the men’s game. They are going to trial it at 2 Champions woman’s game, which would then lead to a trial at all women’s games, which would then lead to them saying to the government that it was a success, and that they should think about changing the law so that it can be allowed at the men’s game.
-
2 clubs from the Woman’s Championship are to trial alcohol in the stands. It is believed that Newcastle is one of them. Last year they were able to have alcohol in the stands, but an FA law prohibits it in the stands of the WSL, and the Championship, unlike the law in the men’s game which is actually U.K. law.

Should have been more time added on there like.
-
3 minutes added on.

Honestly don’t think he’s done anything and is time wasting.
-
We are either going to lose this 1-0, or score twice in stoppage time.
-
Come on, he has to score that, what the fuck?
-
It’s one of those games where if you are a Brighton fan, you think it’s just a matter of time, if you are a Newcastle fan, you think it’s going to be one of those days where you do anything but score.
-
We don’t look like doing anything here.

Awful. My thoughts are with his family, rest in peace little one.
