Let me guess, one of our Twitter/YouTube morons is selling this?

The Greenmarket was part of the original bits of Eldon Square built in the 70’s. It was demolished in the late 00’s, with the replacement (where the Apple Store is) opened at about 2010.

I mean, on one hand you have a chairman trying to push for more out of a deal that’s not there, but at the other end you have another owner who is publicly, and actively trying to buy a league rival club, and drop them. I wouldn’t be too pleased if I was a Palace fan right now.

Apparently the club is opening a store in the former Oasis building in the Platinum Mall of the Metrocentre.

SJP is a mix really. It’s great to be able to see the big stand from around the city, and I think the glass atrium is a good design aesthetic from the 90’s-00’s. However the cladding panels are faded, and to be fair the cladding being recessed is a poor choice. On top of that the tunnel under the Milburn Stand, and Leazes stand is dark and dingy. Also, the fact that aside from the glass Antrim, and the bar and club shop on the Gallowgate end, there is no real street level frontage/interaction to the stadium, and in my opinion, that’s a sin.

Aye, Ashley had to give away 10,000 free half season tickets in his final full season that was open to the public under his ownership. Plenty more would have left as well.
-
Greece resulted ruled him out. If had won all the games in the group, as was expected, they would have went with him.

The next battle should be alcohol in the stands (maybe with restrictions on how many you can buy per games). Safe standing is absolutely fine, I don’t to be crammed in too much. I get that was part of the atmosphere in times gone, but it’s not something I’d welcome in future. Leave it at a 1 for 1 format.
-
UEFA are staunchly against it, FIFA though have been careful in their wording and have never officially ruled it out. There is a good documentary about it on Apple TV+.

You’d hope so. I have no faith in Arsenal, or Liverpool fans though. As ever though, those online will be the most vocal.
-
Aye, can’t fucking wait for the top 6 to all be holding hands going into it, and a hand reached out to us, only for it to fall apart, the top 6 clubs to get away with it again, but for us to be absolutely fucking shafted by the Premier League. I’d hate an ESL, but I hope it raises its ugly head again (to be shot down) just to show the world that we aren’t the bad guys.
-
Arsenal, and Liverpool fans have been begging for it.
-
I mean, they literally bought the business in Teesside for the same price as the club. Everything takes time, and no doubt SJP and to a lesser extent, the training ground will be dominoes that need to fall first. Everyone suspects that the training ground won’t happen until the ministry has moved into Newcastle city centre, and SJP obviously has it’s own course to run before that starts.

Can’t see what it says.

Point 8 is to give it to Bally until the end of the season.

RTG just love to show themselves up. The match today with no segregation, fans sitting side by side, or in each others area just goes to show that there is plenty of normal people on both sides. RTGers acting like that because they lost and are determined to drag people down with them. Seen some people on there say how it’s embarrassing that there is no need for segregation and such man. Get a fucking grip, it’s a football match.
-
Fancy getting some tickets together for the home fixture? We could open it up to an N-O group welcome?
-
Aye, I couldn’t make it today, but I ever me and you having this discussion earlier in the season, even thinking it should be home fans only in both fixtures, for the fear of the idiots coming out and spoiling it for the families, and young ones who go.
-
Newcastle and Sunderland fans sitting together for a derby game. I’m surprised.
-
I honestly think in the next 10-20 years, we won’t have relegation at all. We’ll have an 18 team Premier League.
-
I demand to see Ben Jacobs tears.

Sofi isn’t that large, it was built into the ground because it is too close to an airport, and couldn’t be too tall. If you look at pictures of it inside, it’s basically just bleachers like the London stadium, and not proper stands, with proper concourse's.
-
I guess architecture is subjective. A warehouse style building in an industrial city fits in more than say the Mercedes Benz stadium does. The Mercedes Benz stadium is a good looking stadium, but it sort of has to fit in with it’s surroundings.
-
It won’t look anything like that.
