If we finish 7th and Man Utd finish below us, we don’t get a European place. If we finished 6th and Man Utd finish 7th or below, Man Utd get the Europa League place and we get the Europa Conference League place. Man Utd finish 6th and we finish 7th, then it is as it is.

I suppose it gives us a bit of breathing space if they win it and we finish 7th behind Man Utd.

It depends. If Man Utd finish in the top 6 and win the FA Cup, then it will go to 7th place. If Coventry win it, only the top 6 get a place.
