  1. I saw it turning off the A19 heading towards the ferry. Hope it was fucking cancelled.
  2. How is it knee jerk. It’s something he always does and something loads of us have picked up on well before tonight. Tonight was just the most extreme and obvious example.
  3. It depends how you look at it. We caught them out time and time again, but they kept fouling us a little further up the pitch and the referee never picked up on what they were doing. If he started booking their players, they would have stopped and we would have had more chances. There was one where they almost fouled our player, only for him to get away and pass, otherwise if he brought him down it would have been a red card. There is no excuse for that penalty shout either.
  4. Absolutely fucking sick of it. We went ages not having a threat from set pieces and wasting corners because they fucking went short all the time. We have had Tonali in the squad who hasn’t had a look in. Look at that Targett freekick towards the end, something different from someone else, and we were unlucky not to score. That throw in was one of the stupidest things I’ve fucking seen, but he’ll do the same on corners when chasing a goal towards the end of games.
  5. Not really. They killed the game with repeated fouling, should have been down to 10 men at least with the amount of fouls they made. The referee was weak as fuck. If Dortmund never scored that goal, you could have argued that we could have won it.
  6. Fucking referee and VAR were a disgrace there. They fouled all game, only got what, 2 reluctant yellow cards. Should have a penalty, absolute fucking disgraceful stuff.
  7. Why the fuck does it have to be Trippier everytime man? Coming all the way across the pitch in added time to take a throw-in which allows them to get players back and all of a sudden our throw-in now goes to the fucking keeper.
  8. Referee wants to get a fucking grip man. All the fouls against us, never for us, and they get to take the ball all the way up the pitch on throw-ins.
  9. They have an aging squad now don’t they? That compared with us playing downhill, they could be struggling late on.
  10. The stats will say that they have been much better, but we are sitting back on their attacks and waiting to get the ball closer to our box, they are fouling us before we get to the box. We have caught them out at the back just as much as they have on us, but the referee is weak as fuck and letting them getting away with it. We should have had penalty, a soft one, but one none the less.
  11. Referee needs to get a fucking grip. Anytime they get forward they are fouling us and he’s letting it go time and time again. Wilson needs to fucking wake the fuck up as well. He’s stifled every single attack that we have had, either not bothering to run, or even not going to get the ball that’s a yard in front of him and letting the Dortmund defender get it, which released them on the attack and resulted in a great chance for them. Gordon needs to release the ball instead of running into danger in the middle of nowhere, same for Longstaff.
  12. Not really. It’s been even, they have just fouled us to fuck anytime we get forward.
  13. Yeah. In my option the ideal result will be a PSG win if we beat Dortmund, however if we don’t, then a draw would be best.
  14. Tonali to get a hat trick in the 1st half, and come off at half time when his ban will be announced. It’s chill though because Longstaff comes on as his replacement and hits in 4, with Joelinton on the sidelines begging Howe to put him on, because he feels like he can get 5. In all seriousness though, I’m much more nervous today than I have been recently for this.
  15. They are due about 50 years of relentless bad luck at this rate, them and their cousins further along the M62.
  16. Aye, 100%, even if it’s given.
  17. Referee giving antiFergie time there.
  18. Only been 1 goal though, hasn’t there?
  19. I get that you are enjoying the ride, like we all do. I just think it’s very early days to start getting carried away, the same applies to Villa who went from being pre-season favourites to gatecrash the party (outside of ourselves), to being slated for losing to us, to back to being lauded. We see it year after year, a team doing well early on, only for them to fall away. I think it’s too early to say anything so far. I’m still not expecting anyone to actually come close to Man City at the top. There will be real competition for the European places, but let’s not pretend that we have Man City, Arsenal, Liverpool, and Spurs in a title race.
  20. They always start off well. Let’s see how the do from February/March time when they usually go and fuck things up.
  21. A lot of it was buried in Twitter and articles at the time. For example the majority of the piracy had stopped before our takeover was even first revealed in public in 2020. People in Saudi had reported that Bein was reinstated in Saudi Arabia months before our takeover approved. It was only formally announced a day before our takeover took place. There were no rules and still aren’t any rules against countries owning a club in the Premier Leagues owners and directors test, nor is there any clause which states that the country mustn’t interfere with the running of a club. Who the fuck would put a clause in saying that the owner can’t get involved in the day to day running of the club? Where would that ever make sense? It’s a ludicrous suggestion. The majority of the top 6 though were against our takeover, mostly because they knew they would be left behind. PSG were also applying pressure because at the time Qatar, and Saudi Arabia were at the time involved in a political war. The CAT case was what settled the debate. I honestly believe the Premier League never thought the club would go that far, they are used to having no one hold them to account, so why would they expect a member club to take them to court. I also believe that they thought that either the club was bluffing, fucked up the case so it was dismissed, or less likely, they wanted the excuse that the CAT case ruled against them so had no choice but to allow the takeover. We know that during that initial start of proceedings, the Premier League wanted some evidence that the club had to be barred from being used in the case. The judge on the Friday refused the Premier Leagues request and allowed for the evidence to be used during the proceedings that would start in the January. It was at this point the Premier League knew the club was not bluffing, knew the clubs legal team hadn’t fucked up their case, and threaten to reveal evidence that the Premier League did not want to be public. Less than a week later the takeover was completed.
  22. Aye but despite what Rio would tell you, he actually had multiple chances to do a retest and had people ringing him to tell him to comeback on a reschedule.
  23. Apart from the constant corruption and fear that something similar will blow up. A lot of good teams can have Championship players in their squads, some have highlighted Juventus above, wasn’t long ago Inter had a player who was average for Cardiff amongst their ranks. Most of the stadiums need to be replaced. Serie A has a lot of potential with massive clubs in it, but they do need an overhaul.
