They can play but have to play their ‘home’ games in Poland. -

Seville would be nice, only a bus ride away from the Algarve airport, could coincide with a holiday for some people. Fayenoord would be good for the nostalgia, and I would think that they will be the weakest team in Pot 1. It all depends on if you want glamour over the ability to progress. Feyenoord/Seville, Leipzig, and Braga for me. -
Playing FIFA/EA Sports FC or FM and being in the Champions League in your 1st season.

If our shirt is scheduled to have stripes on the back, they will just put a blank path on the back for the European games, as we did the last time we needed too.
-
Yeah, I never wanted to say anything until it was confirmed, but I made my mind up a while ago that I’d get a Champions League badge on my shirt. I wonder how long it will take for one of our Twitter narcissists to ring up the Sunderland store asking for a shirt with the Champions League badge.

Braga’s stadium is the one in Portugal that is set into the mountain. What a great place that would be to visit, and as it stands they are in Pot 3, and we could be drawn against them. -
Told you, they were not all that much against the Super League as they will have you believe. The fuckers would jump ship straight away, I mean it was even their owner/chairman at the time who was the leading force behind the creation of the Premier League and then tried to sell the whole of the EFL down the river just a few years ago.

The draw is August 31st, fixtures will be settled after that. -
I’ve heard of lemon being used in the term to describe someone as a bit of an idiot. I’ve also heard it used to describe lesbians. It’s more commonly used to describe something that’s a bit shit that you’ve just bought.

Like all social media these days, the responses are filled by bots and right wing nuts, especially on Twitter now where they all have a blue tick to make it look like they are official. If we post about LBGTQ, then all the bot accounts with Barcelona players in the profile picture and Barca fan in their description suddenly start flooding the comments with ‘I’m not longer going to support NUFC’ and ‘Our country will now sell you’. As such you hardly ever see real fans interacting with the Twitter pages and Instagram pages. Musk and Zuckerberg have algorithms on their sites which promote such comments ahead of genuine accounts, because the bot accounts as well as the right wing nuts all are generally more active than other accounts and therefor bring in more revenue. There is also dubious questions over their political and social beliefs as well. It’s not just an NUFC thing, most top flight clubs around the world have the same thing inflicted upon them, and isn’t limited to just football. NUFC.com is as you say an unofficial site. I’m sure during the Ashley era they were threatened with legal action, so therefor don’t touch anything official, even linking to official highlights etc. The new owners maybe more relaxed about things, but it’s not a risk for them worth taking to find out if they are or not. Additionally they are or were close to people behind both the Mag and True Faith, so it’s a lot easier to let them push their content and maybe link with them.

It won’t be long before he decides to come back, possibly with some other broadcaster.

If they pitch incase I’d be in favour of banning orders as well. I might be able to get my season ticket back if enough of them do it.
-
More than likely bullshit, but apparently that Qatari who wants to buy Man Utd is prepared to move on and bid for West Ham.

Nothing, however this is Man City’s 3rd title in a row, their 7th in about 10-11 years. They are in their 2nd Champions League final in 3 years, and in the FA Cup final for however many times in recent years. The likes of Luton have been all the way to the National League and came nearly all the back and are 1 game away from reaching the Premier League for their 1st time. Sheffield United haven’t been in the Premier League for 20 years, and have overcame the biggest 1st leg deficit in the play offs ever to be within 1 game of getting into the Championship. Carlisle have for as long as anyone can remember, always been somewhat of a basket case of a club who have never really done anything and are 1 game from promotion to League One where they could play against a host of fallen giants. Other teams have survived relegation, which at those levels can be a massive risk to the ongoing running of their clubs. I’m not saying that the fans of other clubs haven’t done wrong, they have, but Man City fans are used to the success they saw today. They have never really reacted to it like that before, heck even last night when they became champions their fans were not exactly out in force, where as the success of those other clubs was shown on the pitch on the other occasions. The pictures you saw were of fans taking pictures for social media, because they were on the pitch, not because of a sudden burst celebration/emotion. On top of this Man City themselves have the facilities, manpower, and finances to identify those fans. I doubt the other clubs even have CCTV that distinguishes between home and away supporters.

Aye, one of my nieces (from Doncaster) supports them. They started well actually, but after they went ahead they just became 2nd best. They have started a few games well, but just can’t close them out. A lot of that squad though was a very average Championship side who played beyond their ability under Biesla though. They have brought a few players in, but nowhere near enough to get to a level they need to be at. If they survived this season, they were on the verge of a takeover as well.
-
I hope Man City or at least the authorities are on top of the social media accounts posting about being on the pitch and going through with banning orders.
-
Get off the pitch you bellends man.

Tifo’s are shit. They make it look like the club are the ones running it, and don’t actually get the fans involved. -

Just put it in spoiler tags. For the record I think I have seen it. -
Yeah, they play Villa on the final day as well, so I wonder if they get a result in midweek, if they would go into the final day not being concerned about the result, which allow Villa in ahead of Spurs for the last European place.
-
Hate it when these play each other and both play in blue. It’s fucking shit when the light hits the shirts.
-
I wouldn’t be surprised if the Chelsea owner did a Mike Ashley now. ‘Well I bought the club, my 1st signings didn’t work out, so now I’ll keep it running and keep it bringing money in for me, but nothing else’.
-
We also failed to beat Palace, 3 fucking times.
-
I don’t think we have done it since the 1st relegation season under Ashley. We used to do it when we had Adidas, but also until the mid 2000’s we used to have the same home kit for 2 years.

Who cares about Fat Sam man? Everyone knows what he is. A guy who at the end of the season who can come in and often keep a club up by playing 1 dimensional football, but will never be good enough to actually progress a club beyond relegation drain circling. Dyche is at risk of becoming the next Fat Sam if he keeps Everton up.
