  1. The gap between 2nd and 3rd in the Championship is the same as the gap between 3rd and 19th. Absolutely shambolic. End the season now, and just pick a name out of the hat for the final promoted team.
  2. Been a massive drop off in quality. Only Burnley out of the relegated clubs are doing well. Norwich look like they have given up going up and down, eventually. Just no quality left in the league at all. An average Championship side of Sheffield United are over 10 points clear of the play off places. We are probably closer to the Super League now than ever before.

Aye, just as I was about to type that they’ll get a winner in the 90+tomorrow minute, they get a penalty.
  4. I think the top two in the Championship have the auto places wrapped up now. Seen the gap they have and compare that to when we were down there.
  5. Possibly, but we have just had a World Cup and teams usually go crazy snapping up players after a World Cup. If only Scotland had qualified, we could have snatched a fee for Ritchie.
  6. They are going down in anyway. Most of their players are not good enough, those who are can’t gel with each other, and have no desire too.
  7. Nah, I don’t have Sky at mine, but I use my mams login on SkyGo. I would expect a slight delay like you get on Prime, but not that far back.
  8. Nice to know I’m 2 minutes behind in my stream.
  9. Fuck me, imagine actually being interested in this cunt as your manager. I’m not sure I have enough pity left for Norwich fans.
  10. Why are Wigan playing in black at home?
  11. No. They do a small amount of accessories, but nothing like that anymore.

They are thick as fuck in RTG. On one of their threads the other day about the SOL one of them was saying he’d wish the capacity was 30k-35k which is what they can realistically achieve consistently. He was obviously beeeewww’d out of the place. Another guy was saying they should half the ticket price and have a 60k capacity. Obviously he just wants to have more than us. They have just came up from League One by scrapping their way up at their 4th attempt. They are only doing so well at the moment because they have a striker in form and the rest of the league is tight as fuck right now. They will still do well to stay up, despite their position now, and they are thinking they are biggest club in there again. Again like others have said, in recent times Blackburn, Boro etc all have a claim to be as big or bigger than them. A big problem for them now is us. They right now have an owner rich enough so they should never be in danger of financial trouble. However as time goes on and he doesn’t sound all his money on them, they’ll get restless and try to push him out, especially if we get successful. The thing then though is that no one is going to buy them when their nearest neighbours are becoming successful and have the whole area locked down on fans. A stadium that at anytime can only realistically achieve a consultant crowd of 35k, 2/3 full is not going to temp anyone. No one will want to go near them. In all honestly the Man City sale was remarkable, even then I think it was a case of other Premier League clubs being higher up in their agenda and not available (thanks Mr Ashley) and the whole financial situation where Man City at the time had to be sold.
  13. I’d be pissed off if I was a fan of theirs. There is absolutely no fucking reason why they should have been playing 2 days after Boxing Day when they had another game 2 days later. It’s all the more infuriating the fact that all the games were on TV in anyway. On top of this with Leeds and Manchester being fairly close to each other, there is more a reason for them being an early KO instead, although the early KO was an all London tie. With fixtures piling up during this time, it’s an absolute disgrace that games are being postponed for TV for so long.
  14. As for Jorginho, no. I don’t want us singing has been players from the likes of Chelsea who want to shift them on for their own new players. So he could do a job for 1-2 years. We are now employing the best scouts out there, we should be looking for the next youngsters who can be doing job for us for 5-10 years. Go for the players like Bruno who needed to be brought in when others were giving him another year to see if he can make it. Challenge the likes of Chelsea for that players they want to replace Jorginho with, don’t be giving them the money to buy better ahead of us.
  15. I just don’t think Man Utd look that comfortable at the back and a goal for Forest would make them nervous.
  16. If Forest get 1 back before the final 10 minutes, I actually think they’ll equalise.
  17. It’s been reported for a while that he’s off, and I’m sure Spurs are favourites to get him. I’m not sure what people see in him. For Everton he’s toe erratic and error prone. I’m not sure him leaving or staying would weaken Everton to be honest.
  18. I stopped liking him when he left. I liked him like most loved Shearer. For me he was just as much as an icon. I then read his book when it came out, and he goes into detail as to why he left.
  19. Would that not mean that they have a relatively easy run in until end of the season though?
  20. I actually think anyone from them (11th) down are in a possible relegation battle.
  21. The thing is, they often do compete in the transfer market. They often get the players they want and they do pay the money needed to bring them in. They have often been bad buys, either not good enough, don’t have the right attitude, or doesn’t fit in with the manager and his style. It’s not a whole, the Glaziers don’t get us competing argument they like to band on about. You can call them out on having the right managers, people running the club, lack of infrastructure etc, but the money for the playing squad is there and the commercial side of the club is a roaring success. Although they overlap on a lot of things in regards to poor running of a football club, the Glaziers and Ashley are not the same as the argument people like to make it out as.
  22. This is what I mean. There are a few clubs up there that would be good sized clubs if they were in a league where they could grow. I love Hearts to bits and if there was a team who I’d want to break the Old Firm, it’s them. The fact that the League and whole of Scottish football is engineered to keep them both at the top is killing them. Hearts etc could easily become a team getting 30k-40k fans a week. I’d much rather them up there in the league trying to get into Europe than fucking Everton. Whatever happens Scottish football needs a reset, and they probably need a British & Irish League with or without the top clubs.
  23. 2-3 games ago those on RTG were saying we could still go down. Anyone not still worried? I mean we still need 1 more win to get the average amount of points for safety. In all seriousness though, I predicted ahead of the season that I could see Southampton going down. This looks very likely to happen. I also think a 2nd long term Premier League team will go down, I think most of us would love it if is Everton. West Ham are also having a bad season at the minute. Bournemouth are weird, they on paper should be going down, but every time they get near the bottom 3 they pull away. Forest looked like they were going to go straight back down but have hit a run of form to put them in contention. All in all, I honestly think it might be the most intriguing relegation battle in years. So many under achieving teams, no one team is being cut adrift.
  24. He went because despite being linked with us and Arsenal, neither were actually going for him, at least not at the price he was being sold for. Going to West Ham seemed like a good move. They have had 2 very good seasons previously, and going there to turn it on for a few games would almost certainly be enough to attract better teams.
  25. Was always a whingy bastard, now he’s turned into a right cunt in the name of money making.
