I don’t know. Players these days are pampered. Let’s say we are trying to get someone in from PSG or Real Madrid, if they have an option of us or someone else who can offer a better training ground, where do you go? Obviously wages will be a big part of that conversation. I think we need to be the best we can be in all areas, an if that mean the decor of the training ground is better than it is now, then we need to do that, just as much as we need to sort our stadium out.
-
I think that’s the point though. The players we are after will want a more luxurious training ground. I’m sure PSG have apartments in theirs so players don’t even need to buy a house anymore.
-
Plenty of tickets available for this.

Yeah. I mean I still think we’ll come up with a really great design and state of the art stadium, I just think once we do see it, it will be ready to go in terms of planning etc.
-
It probably will be the stadium, and other development related. Potentially even transfer window related.
-
No because they had to pay a fee which I presume was more than what they sold for initially.
-
Good, we should go out, get him in and snapped up. We’ve been after him for about 2 years, get him before he goes to market again.

They mentioned something about releasing images and about what it all looks like etc. I think they are really mindful to not release images of a very early and overly ambitious plan that they are not sure they can deliver, much like Man Utd, and Birmingham have been accused of recently. Additionally Real Madrids pitch system has been facing problems and is basically a failure. So I think they are making sure whatever systems they chose to adopt, have been tried and tested. It’s worth mentioning that he said he doesn’t imagine he’ll be sat here in a year’s time with the training ground sponsorship question hanging over him. He gives the impression that he’s going to hit commercial deals hard and fast.

Event tomorrow at the Stack and online. I fully expect to hear of at the minimum, information on our badge change, possibly something in relation to the training ground, and we might not find out any more info about the stadium, but no doubt the question will be asked.
-
Nah, upper leg, knee (I’ll give) then lower leg.
-
It doesn’t even hit his leg.
-
Same, it’s not even reckless, he’s just a little late. It’s Arsenal though, and anyone going near them is a red card.
-
Are Brighton ever going to fuck off? Worse than Wigan.
-
About time someone called the referees out though.
-
West Ham 2nd yellow for Paqueta.
-
Should have jumped up and punched the ref for that.
-
Won the ball.
-
£130m and he’s got to December scoring against Southampton, and West Ham.
-
West Ham’s pitch looks wider in the centre.
-
That not a foul………oh yeah wrong shirt.

You’ll be out of luck now. There was only a limited run on the pink keepers top because it wasn’t supposed to be an official one. They also didn’t do it in a kids size. You’re best bet would be DHG, but they generally only do adult sizes.

Fuck me man, should play on there, fuck all there to be wrong with him.

A couple of things I noticed yesterday was that with Ramsdale in goal, our defenders looked a lot more relaxed, especially when receiving the ball and a lot calmer playing it across the back line, even though I think we actually passed back to the keeper much less than what we have done with Pope. It just shows that our defences have more confidence if it is required. I also thought that Miley had a great game, Thiaw will get plaudits for his 2 goals though. More importantly though, within 1 minute we showed what putting the ball into the box from a corner can do. Fuck off with the short corners that usually don’t even end up getting into the box. The same applies to freekicks.
-
I’m glad he got a goal yesterday, he’s been a few games without one, and although that’s not really an issue because of his work rate etc, once the media get ahold of it, it could have just been pressure onto him that he could do without.
-
Yeah, he might as well have sacked himself there.
