So in other words, the 2 clubs outside the top 6 who are achieving the cap, are the 2 clubs selling their best players to the top 6 and Saudi?

Looks like the Premier League are going to do Leicester on PSR again.
-
Genuinely think the living in London thing is overhyped. Most of the clubs in London have their training grounds on the outskirts, with players living outside of London, often outside the M25. It’s the same in Manchester as well, most of the players at both Manchester, and Liverpool clubs live in Cheshire. They have the money these days that the can be anywhere they want via private travel, be that in their own car, being Chauffeured, or even by plane.
-
We are arguably 2/3 years into their timeline, it’s just everything they did was public, where as ours so far hasn’t been. If we build a new stadium, I reckon we are about 6 years out, if we are rebuilding SJP, then I reckon that we are 10 years out.
-
They should have been deducted points under PSR rules, but because the Premier League sign off the transfer of clubs a few days before the PSR deadline, they were able to walk free of it. Some think they could have been deducted up to 10 points, and considering Man Utd are only 7 points away from safety, they will be foaming at that as well.

If we have another January, and another summer window of a lack of sales, then PSR and UEFA’s FFP will go. Even the media will turn against it, as it’s depriving them of sales and clicks. Sky Sports for example won’t be happy because last January, their biggest transfer story on deadline day was Lewis Hamilton switching manufacturer. Sky pay the Premier League, and to a lesser extent the EFL, and SPFL a fortune, and if the period of speculation is over, then they will not be happy.
-
The Premier League changed their stance on applying ownership loans retrospectively to get Chelsea, and Everton amongst others to vote for the new rules when it appeared that they were going to veto them.
-
Full schedule of EFL games today as well, all on TV via the Sky Sports+ app.
-
March is apparently when we will find out, but knowing NUFC’s ‘imminent’ deadline from the last time, I’d expect that to possibly be pushed back to between April, and June.
-
Will La Liga be deducting them points for PSR breaches?
-
Wait, hold on. I thought their argument all the time was that Ashley did bankroll us and stopped us from doing a Leeds/Portsmouth?
-
Back for our game then?

There is an increase in footballers in South America either being robbed, kidnapped, or having their family members targeted in order to extract money. I’m not sure what the situation is like in Paraguay, but if his options are 2 Brazilian clubs, and MLS team, or an a Greek team, I think long term going to the MLS and retiring there would be best for him.
-
I honestly think he’d do well going back to the MLS. He can retire in the USA, particularly the southern states where there is a lot a Latino culture. I doubt he wants to go back to South America, he’s just going to end up with a target on his head because of the money he has.

Considering we are still at least half a team away from competing for titles, and our lack of success, yes I would. That is on the condition that we have our owners, if we had theirs, not a chance, because you look at the people running their club, and they don’t look like they are capable of turning it around.
-
They don’t, Duran kicked it away.
-
If I was a billionaire and I had the option of buying us, or Man Utd, I’d buy Man Utd and send you fuckers down to non-league. Well either you Liverpool.
-
I’m not saying you do, but let’s put it this way. You are from and live in Ireland (Dublin I believe), so it’s reasonable to assume that you don’t regularly go to Old Trafford, you are always on this Newcastle United forum, even when Man Utd are playing you are on here. You don’t partake in Man Utd forums, not sure if you go on other forums or not. I’m sorry like, but you’re not really a Man Utd fan. Clearly they were one of the teams people in Ireland grew up supporting when you were younger, so you likely picked them because they were possibly the dominant team at the time, but you’ve never really fell in love with them have you?
-
I’m not so sure anymore. I think since PIF took us over, it has made the countries left think twice. They can’t now just spend as much as they want like Man City, and PSG have. You, Liverpool, and Chelsea have been on the market since our takeover, and all you got was that guy who couldn’t provide proof of funds, and who it took the media a while to figure out if he really existed.
-
Let’s face it, you’re not a Man Utd fan.
-
He couldn’t provide period of funds, so it’s not going to happen. I said it all along, that he wasn’t as rich as he made out to be, and if he did takeover you, then it would be on tick. Until Kuwait, or Bahrain come in for their piece of football, you aren’t getting an Arab takeover, not one that isn’t just a hedge fund consortium in anyway.
-
Yeah, Plymouth did it in the hope that it would gain shirt sales etc. I don’t think Rooney has that kind of following. They needed someone to steady it, and to build. Instead it looks like all that hard work is going to go down the drain and they’ll get relegated back to League One. You’d be an idiot to employ him as a manager now.
-
And Forest, for having the audacity to be as high up as they are.
-
Forest and Chelsea points deductions might work well for us.
