  1. Aye, but with Everton vs Liverpool, no matter the result, 1 of them loses which makes me happy, and a draw would make me doubly happy. Having a day off to watch the red & white Brexit derby of Sunderland vs Stoke is just horrifying.
  2. That’s exactly what I was about to say. Everton also had a days extra rest. The 2 stadiums are across the park from each other, not like there is potential problems for fans. Not had a day where I can just sit and watch football for ages, did all the house work etc this morning as well. Fucking lousy Scouse bastards.
  3. Cunt who took that video must have been gutted that he didn’t become the victim there.
  4. How is it allowed to be on TV with a 3pm KO? Edit: Just seen, Sunday KO.

Oh no you don’t, keep him there. Finest ankle Dr’s are in Brazil I hear.
  6. Aye, back when I had a season ticket in the Gallowgate end (near the front), all the noise came from the back. This was in mid to late 00’s though.
  7. Everyone could see where this Ange thing was heading right from the beginning.
  8. I came here to say this. They are wide open at the back.
  9. Why the fuck is Carragher wearing a Man Utd top?
  10. I really liked that display last night, it was simple, but clear. I’m also pleased the Keegan display has been postponed, not sure on the reasons why, but I feel like Liverpool fans would have made it about them had we done it against them. He’s a legend at our club as well, and I’d rather they weren’t pinching or piggybacking off what we do.
  11. He didn’t get it for that foul alone, he got it for repeatedly doing it.
  12. When he blew the whistle, we were 2 on 1, possibly 3 on 1 in the final 3rd, their defender was backpeddling.
  13. Isak’s goal had so much power on it that everyone is talking about that aspect, however the ability to take it round the wrong side of the defender, and away from goal, then smash it in is just unbelievable. Even without the power, the fact that he’s done that means that he is going to place it where the keeper likely cannot get it.
  14. Yeah, the worry is that we can only do that against teams who want to win themselves. Liverpool needed to win, and it’s in their nature to go for one. Brentford are quite attacking, and at home, so I’m a lite more positive about it than other games, although they bring their own dangers with that. Leicester, and Ipswich though, they will both be very happy point against us. They won’t attack and leaves gaps like others do. So far we haven’t found any answers for games like that.
  15. Yeah, Everton, and another club I forgot, plus against Chelsea we would have got a League Cup semi-final tie against Middlesbrough.
  16. I went to an away match at Anfield once, and our fans were singing in the concourse at half time, and there was loads of police there, and they were just looking at us as if they were waiting for anything to excuse themselves for coming in hard on us. I saw the look on the face of one officers in particular, and just turned to go back into the stands instead of getting anything from kiosk or going to the toilet. I remember thinking that we were lucky they never found that excuse to make that move, and from a club/city that has been on the receiving end of police brutality as well.
  17. Mate, this region itself gets fucking shit on all over, in fact in recent years we have been what on even more for the benefit of Liverpool, in the sense of losing the European capital of culture bid which the judges even said we deserved to win, or how they allowed the port of Liverpool expand at the expense of the Port of Tyne expanding. At the end of the day, when emotions settle down, I think people from here are much more rational than those from Liverpool.
  18. At 2-2, with 15 minutes left, you should always be trying to score the goal over getting the keeper sent off and getting a freekick that will likely mount to nothing.
  19. Thing is, you know where Arsenal fans got it from. It was years of Wenger complaining about every challenge against them, years of him making out that they were hard done by, and that they were the victims. With Liverpool fans there is no visible starting point. It’s like their fan base is recruited solely from paranoia support groups. They are devoid of reality, they don’t see anything any other way, and they don’t want too. You can talk to them rationally, and they still think that you are the monster at the door trying to get at them.
  20. Saying VVD was ok going in like he did, then starts saying our player tried to murder Szoboszlai.
  21. Liverpool manager went to see the referee at half time. Absolute disgraceful.
  22. Liverpool fans think they were robbed, and the referee fucked them. Honestly man, they must drink the same blue panda pop people on RTG do.
  23. Deserved all 3 I think, and robbed of the chance of doing so.
