Nah. Last season they lost their biggest game in the Champions League, the League Cup final to us, and even when they put the kids out against Plymouth they lost. They turns a routine win against Bournemouth into a stoppage time snatch, built the game to be bigger than it should have been against us, went 2 goals up with a man advantage and lost the lead an got lucky at the end.
-
I called it in pre-season, Liverpool are mentally week in the big game. They have got out of jail so many times so far this season, but letting slip 2 goals leads all the time will catch up with them.
-
It seems like the club are selling half and half scarfs.

He shouldn’t have had to wait so long.
-
Arsenal made a bid of over £60m for him.

Probably Mavis and the gang writing each email out from their own personal email account.
-
I said it at the time, but they should have sold Watkins to Arsenal and kept Duran.

Draw and we win.

They really needed it from a PSR perspective. In saying that if there was Champions League buy clauses in the contracts of the loan players, they’d be fuck either way. We might be starting to see them fall away as PSR intended, unless they won Europa League or FA Cup.
-
So they have changed the ballot process to a multi ballot format without telling anyone? Aye fuck off with that shit.

The box office staff are stuck in the day of people lining up out the door and buying their tickets manually. We have been through various version of digital tickets, and various ways of implementing it. It’s clear that they have no fucking idea how to do anything digitally. They don’t know how to buy software, they don’t know what they want the software to do, and they don’t know what to do when it goes wrong. All they know is that people buy a ticket so they don’t have to stand at a desk or answer calls. They don’t know how touts work, they don’t know about bot accounts/attacks. They evidently don’t know how to sell via a ballot. I’d be surprised that if at any given moment they wouldn’t know how to be able to tell you how many tickets there are left available.
-
I’ve also never been able to buy anything other than corporate tickets for the Barca match.

Huge gap in the Spurs crowd.

If Ashley didn’t sell then, then the price of the club would have collapsed. We would have been relegated, and there was probably more of a chance of us being relegated again than there was of us coming back up.

I’m just saying it’s funny how it has ended up.

There is a little re-writing, but only on respectful stuff. She can’t come out and say Emery was first choice and that he turned us down. She can’t come out and say Nike offered more money than Adidas, but we went with Adidas because we could make more money off the fans relationship with Adidas. She can’t come out and say that Rafa got her interested in us, and that she was also looking at West Ham and that her initial approaches were without PIF. Let’s also be honest, she only brought PIF on board because they had the money to invest at a drop of a hat when she could get a deal down, when previous investors likely needed their money making money for them so couldn’t sit around to do deal with Ashley that took 3 years to do, then another 17 months of wrangling with the Premier League.

Nah, you let them pay the £40 membership fee, then as soon as you proof of them not being legitimate, you cancel their membership.

It’s kind of amazing that some mam who sends her kids to private school set off a chain of events that has lead to tour operators being found to be running a ticket touting scheme, and over 100 season tickets cancelled with many more likely to come and under investigation. All because she was buzzing that her privileged kid gained another privilege above others by being offered tickets to what is one of the most anticipated fixtures in the Champions League and she had to put it on Facebook.
-
Was it? Fucking hell, that is bad.
-
It gets it out of the way I guess.

It was the same last season. They play in Houghton-Le-Spring. It’s not all that easy to get too without a car, and is on the border with Durham. I’d say it’s possibly closer to Durham’s ground than it is to the SOL. For as long as they play there, they will never gain the numbers to indicate that they could achieve more numbers elsewhere. The problem is that unlike Newcastle, there is a lack of non-league grounds in Sunderland. I’m surprised that they haven’t tried playing their games at either South Shields, or Hebburn, both of which are owned by Sunderland fans. In saying this though, 735 is a lot more than who will go to watch most non-league games. It’s just that many WSL and WSL2 teams are now gaining massive numbers beyond that.

Aye, Staveley had tried to buy Liverpool years ago, I think she also looked at West Ham and ruled them out. It’s also common knowledge that PIF looked at Spurs but Levy/ENIC broke off negotiations. Staveley brought PIF to us as she thought that they were the perfect partner for us. Amazing isn’t it? One moment we are sell outs to sports washing, the next they are making up that they were the original targets for a takeover.

Concrete cancer or not, I’ve always maintained that the constriction methods to create the East stand has a 50 year old life span from the construction period, that time is now up. The remaining stands were built in the 90’s, and although they might not as bad as the East stand, they are probably 20 years away from needing major work. I’ve always maintained this position on here and on SSC. It’s quite possible that they have read what I have said, and looked up what I have said about the East stand, and applied it to the rest of the ground. It’s likely that those conversations are the ‘friend’ that they are on about. As it happens I don’t disagree much with their valuation of their team. If they stay up, their value will increase somewhat, and they have a stadium that aside from general maintenance, won’t need to be touched massively for 20 years. At that point I’d say £500m-£650m would be fair for them. It’s easily what any established Premier League team is worth these days. The whole NUFC are only worth what they paid for them is laughable though.
-
Yeah, and also it’s already been reported a few times that the price could be anywhere from £1bn-£4bn. We’ll be looking at the latest NFL builds, as well as Spurs’, Real Madrid’s, and Barca’s new stadiums for inspiration.

Aye but we got beat and it wasn’t so much of a classic for us.
