yup. imagine carrol for ranger may be because ranger has played an awful lot so may wanna rest him. would prefer to see two upfront -
Premier League introduce home-grown quota and squad size limit

bad thing imo, theirs already a premium price on anyone who is young decent and english and this is only going to increase this, clubs outside the top 5 will now be even more disadvantaged, its bad enough searching for talent before the big spenders get to it first, across the world. -
Next Liverpool player...............

not bad odds. -
For our best passer, Barton hardly found a team-mate all bloody match. A few went astray, but he's still our best passer. Sometimes the execution was poor, but sometimes I felt the receiver failed to anticipate. They were flat-footed instead of running into space. and their wasnt much exactly to aim at. also i do feel his reputation precedes him, alan smith did a hell of a lot worse than him before getting booked than barton did. All our players were wasteful in possession, but I've rarely seen a player's misdirect/misweight so many passes as Barton managed today. would of been ten times worse if butt/ Geremi had started, but it did remind me of how bad last season was, no where near good enough, but it was still an improvement

Totally agree. There's this notion of people thinking that Keegan walked out because "Xisco was rubbish" imo it was probably a bit of both, when you're banging on MA's door demanding an Lb to see him spend money on areas that dont need improving (as much) and on players you've never herd of, would get to you. he probably could of lived with not getting the players he wanted or wise being allowed to sign players, but not both.

the picture of him holding a coke bottle is just awful

most of them make Caster Semenya look like cheryl cole tbf. and the footballs not much crack either, only ever watch internationals and the fa cup final though. agree about the goalkeeping.
-
havnt ever really cared about internation football since watching england just to see if owen managed to get injured. still its an excuse to watch football, if ever i needed one, during the boring internation break.

Chelsea not banned from signing players for next 2 windows.

no chance of a title challenge now imo, fair enough ancellloti can keep them going till january playing well, but these players are all quite old so could see alot of them slowing down towards the end of the season..... not that this ban will be kept like. -
i think people are forgetting how much a liability krul can be, he often comes out for the ball whne hes got no chance and in a game where its gunna be decided by the odd goal, harper is easily the best choice. and on the point that its distrobution is slow, its alot better than given's was

Zamblera was never in the squad was he? neither was nile ranger untill the start of this season. and considering shola and carrol are out, hes not far of being first team. Difference is Ranger has shown a lot of promise at youth and reserve level. that explains why he's ahead of zamblera, but dosnt really solve the problem of their being hardly anyone else, zamblera may have not been good enough, but he would of been better than nothing.

just when i was begining to belive we could get to the end of the transfer window without making our squad any smaller, xisco and zamblera both go on loan
