Jamie Vardy man, the radgiest football player in the history of the game. (Smart kit btw)

Nervous as fuck about this game, probably more so than any other game I can remember. It's a strange feeling, if I knew Rafa would stay on regardless, I'm not sure I'd give a shit if we stayed up or not.

What? And turn down Barca Exactly why it won't happen, but he's currently: 1. Playing every week. 2. For a good team. 3. Seemingly getting on with his teammates and manager. 4. Receiving international recognition for his performances. 5. Being hero worshipped by his club's supporters. 6. Enjoying his football. All of that is at risk if he moves. As far as I'm concerned, these are the things Ben Arfa thrives on and needs in order to perform to the best of his ability. He's far too fragile to be a smaller fish in a huge pond at a club like Barcelona. He needs to feel loved and cherished. Idolised even. That post match interview when he was playing for us (I forget the opposition) when he said something along the lines of "The fans say GO! GO! GO! and I can fly" - such enthusiasm and such joyful nature to his words, he needs that love to thrive on the football pitch. The most frustrating thing about his time here for me, was those fans who lapped up Pardew's bullshit about his work ethic and how he didn't track back. Fuck that, man. When you're a kid growing up watching football, you don't give a flying fuck about defenders, clean sheets, tracking back. You want to see players like Ben Arfa running at opposition players, taking them on, putting them on their arse. Proper edge of the seat stuff. So what if he doesn't track his man, when you're lucky enough to have a player like that in your team you make the other 10 players do the defending, knowing that when he gets the ball, he'll make things happen. For all the shit we put up with under Pardew, the heavy defeats, negative tactics, winless runs etc - his involvement in alienating Hatem from our club is the thing that will ensure my disdain for him for the rest of time.

Can anyone envisage a scenario where Rafa stays, is allowed to reshape the whole club and we get shot of all the shite, walk the Championship and become a solid top ~6 side?

I didn't have to use my AK. I've gotta say it was a good day.

Imagine if we'd beaten Bournemouth.

Can we close this thread so I don't have to keep looking at the smack head Moyes photoshop picture when viewing on Tapatalk?

Download Puffin Browser fella. Just done it myself, worked like a charm. Watch it. Be inspired, then immediately uninstall that heap of shit. (Puffin Browser, not Wor Rafa)

It's been exactly the same for me, Dave. My missus isn't in the slightest bit interested in football, but I do think she's chuffed at how happy I've been today. All week when I'm home from work "Has the manager gone yet?" "Nah" She wonders why I go, why I watch, why I listen, why I read about NUFC, why do I bother when I get so fed up with all the shit? It's literally impossible to explain to someone who has little or no interest in football, just how it makes you feel. To go from over 10 years of apathy, misery and anger to the emotions I've experienced today is just insane. Those seasons under Sir Bobby were exceptional, of course they seem like a lifetime ago but to have even a hint of that excitement again is long overdue. I literally cannot fathom how any sane NUFC fan could consider this a risk or a bad move in any way. It could be the start of something so special.

Exactly the same for me. There's no doubt how much my mood changed for the better today but the sheer magnitude of this will take a while to settle in. A sad indictment of the last 10+ years I guess that it's THIS big a shock, but my word does the complete, overwhelming love for this football club just come flooding back with a vengeance at times like this. The excruciating wait, anger and apathy of the last week almost feels worth it for today.

Anyone coming in here predicting a defeat should be hung, drawn and quartered. Today is not a time for negativity. 0-5 -
Never doubted the club.

Wow. This is all real.
