What the fuck are we doing? Get to the byline and two seconds later we're being closed down outside their box going the wrong way with nothing on. This is absolutely shocking from Alan Par....Gareth Southgate. -

This is wank. Everyone is isolated -
I get that, but as a fan why on earth would you be worrying about stuff like that? Surely you just want to see the best team out on the pitch.

Who gives a shite about sell on value, man. We should sign the best players available to us now.

An autopsy has confirmed that Joe Kinnear had CTE from repeatedly heading the ball which ultimately led to his dementia. Awful stuff, puts the new kids rules into perspective.
-
Yep, that's the silver lining for sure. Would rather he had his feet up somewhere than be busting his arse training, trying to impress the vanilla empty head, however.

Oxford I never knew that Maxwell owned a football club until now though. Makes the original story a touch less random I suppose.

What if St James Park burns down and we all die? (Discussion)

Wtf -
Ha, good point. Strange one to buy, they've been a mediocre, nothing club for what seems like forever.

Had no idea Birmingham had fallen as well

Why would Birmingham ask to play in the USA?

Aye, we've never beat Milan to a signing before. Imagine the outrage if we signed their vice-captain! -

Having slept on last night's result I can still say that it's hilarious what happened last night -
No idea about him. Brooks was good before his cancer, then had a decent season in the championship. Mepham is a bit meh but Solanke is a good player. All those signings were relatively cheap for the PL as well.

Other than Jordon Ibe, name one poor British signing (in the context of value for money at the time of signing from a Bournemouth perspective).

Dominic Calvert-Lewin (playing for Leeds United)

Nope, I don't understand this at all. He's been playing for one of the shittest, most dysfunctional teams in the history of the Premier League over the last few years, very difficult to say how this transfer would work out. -
Regardless of what anyone thinks of the player it's great to see us asserting our dominance over Everton by taking one of their better players, again.
-
DCL scores a goal every 3.7 games (based off the last 3 seasons in the PL, when Everton have been really shit). The two seasons before that he scored every 2.1 games, which included a very respectable 16 goal season. I'm assuming we're looking at that period thinking he can replicate that form, taking into account how much of a mess Everton have been recently coupled with his career being so stop/start with his injuries, almost ignoring his more recent goalscoring record. I'm just happy we're backing our manager. This would be a signing that shows how unified we are behind the scenes. Given he'd be backup to one of the GOAT's and should only be getting 15/20 mins here and there plus the odd start I think we can manage his fitness. Would still like an elite RW though, think that would be more transformative than anything else at this stage.

Interesting that Howe's signed Chris Wood and is now going for DCL, obviously a plan there to have two very different strikers at the club. I don't mind that at all.

Have to take your word on that, I don't watch German football whatsoever, but half a season or whatever, he was dreadful.
