  1. I'd rather Hartlepool, Darlo and Gateshead sorted themselves out before these.
  2. Aye, here's to 13 more years of being s***. We've been s*** throughout most of our history other than for a few years at the start of the 1900s, the 1950s, a few years in the mid 90s and a few years at the start of this Century. So about 20/25 good years out of 128! And here we have our best chance ever to become one of the best clubs in the World, but fuck that. We don't have a chance. It's not going through and it never was. Of course I'd have loved this takeover to happen mate but I'm also a realist. Quite a statement. I'm sure you can understand why I hope you're massively wrong God I wish we knew nothing of this bid from the start! But so desperate are we that we've got people monitoring companies house and airports. I hope I'm wrong too as well mate but I don't see how it can go through and the WTO report, which is what the PL are waiting for so they can formally reject it, will be the final nail (all my opinion). Lots of do called ITKs on here and Twitter who weren't actually ITK at all, simply persons fishing for likes and clicks will end up losing a lot of credibilty I feel. Weren't you ITK like a month ago saying it would be rejected? I don't really think the report going public matters much, the PL have it, if they have grounds to reject it based on that report they could just reject it. They don't need the report to be public. Also wouldn't make sense for them to be waiting for it while also asking the buyers piracy questions just last week. Premier League just need to cover their arses before rejecting it. The WTO report being made public is what they are waiting for. Tedious pessimist. Please go somewhere else and be as miserable as you want........ Howay man, you're allowed a different opinion FFS. You forgot about the clique.
  3. This is it for me. They were unbearable when we were in the Championship and I doubt they'd let up should we ever stop trying and fall into League 1.
  4. I only wish Staveley, the Reubens and some of the most expensive solicitors in the world had thought about the possibility of the WTO report causing this to be rejected before commiting to spending millions of pounds with no chance of a return.
  5. it's the bullshit thread, where you indulge the bullshit Do we need a "Too bullshit for the bullshit" thread?
  6. Howling soon as I realised Coventry were one of the teams "handed" promotion
  7. Disagree, I don't think if a game is televised the attendance will be affected. Look at us, in a season which has seen ST renewals plummet our televised games have some of our highest gates minus the Brighton game. The previously mentioned potential season pass where you pay extra to watch your club's 3pm games I'd pay for in a heartbeat. When we're away from home and it's a 3pm kick off it's such a pain in the arse trying to find a place online where it's on when I can't get to aways, I just want to watch me team. This is why I'll happily sink £50 a year into a good IPTV service. No fucking on 5 minutes before the game, and you get every game you could wish for across Europe.
  8. I'd happilly sit and do pointless and median questions all night
  9. Never mind Neesy, it's a shame the N-O anorak Haydn wasn't around for another A* performance
  10. Jacob Murphy has to be in the mix. One of the worst players I've ever seen play for us. Worst part of it is there will still be some people on here defending him
  11. Ah, the signings that make Rafa a shit manager. Still don't understand the point in either of those signings tbh.
  12. She must think she has a good case if she's going ahead with it. Not sure how it affects our takeover tbh, she's suing a bank because she feels they owe her something. She's not the one being sued nor has she broken the law. Worst case is she fails, and then everyone moves on, right?
  13. They might need to intervene for the takeover to go through. The PL board is seemingly already in Qatar's pocket What evidence do you have to suggest that "The PL board is seemingly already in Qatar's pocket"? They've already bought FIFA with its 100s of delegates. I'm sure influencing several anonymous members of the PL board to stop (an already unpopular) takeover of a club no one cares about, is well within their powers. Qatar's foreign policy is based on such excersizes in soft power. And they already have а multi-billion relationship with the PL. What MBS is attempting to do now - diversify through PIF, the Qatari's have been doing since the 90s. They kick Saudi's ass left, right and center right now and I think this failed takeover would be another small win in their economic war. So none then? And if it goes through, are they still in Qatar's pocket? All the delay is because of Qatar's involvement. People surely can spot that.. or are we into the 3rd month of checks, cause the PL cannot afford to hire lawyers and economists? If the checks are related to Qatar it doesn't automatically mean the PL are in their pocket. These are legit concerns around piracy, it would be weird if the PL didn't investigate thoroughly.

  15. Even with the NDA I'd be amazed if the PL were "being dicks" and nobody had called them out for it. It would be incredible for all those involved to not have said something to someone in all that time.
  16. 4-0, Joelinton hat-trick. Safety all but confirmed in the PL and MBS will helicopter (an actual flying machine) in to the stadium at FT.
  17. Never mind the actual football on the pitch, at least they have shirts in the seats!
  18. Yeah, I'm not arsed either way now. Just glad we're seeing the back of Ashley.
  19. Werw, they're going to be great to watch.
