The thing sticking with me is the Maiga deal never made any footballing sense. To lose what would presumably have been our two best strikers every time the African Nations comes around is ridiclulous - if you are really intent on pushing on. Always suspected it was a "cheapest on the shortlist" deal, and think it's likely to be the same for the centre half, unfortunately.

Absolutely crucial win there. Not the greatest performance, but dug it out very well. Class told in the end and HBA has to be given a run now. Understood why we persisted with big men up front to help the defence whilst it was weakened badly, but Willo coming through well should change that thinking now.

Been absolutely fantastic for us this season. Love his attitude.
