People dislike Bruce for what he represents, pure unashamed apathy. The very fact your making a song and dance about us being 12th pretty much sums it up. 43 points is nothing to celebrate, regardless of if it’s not quite been the implosion some feared. Bruce’s appointment, the media’s championing of his ‘success’ and celebrating 43 points (ffs) is all part and parcel of the club’s wings being clipped. It’s us being told that this is all Newcastle United can strive for, treading water in the PL and that we should be happy with it. Bruce is complicit in all that, so fuck him.
