  1. Quay Ingredient is fantastic and in the best part of town imo!

    St James' Park

Yet ask any West Ham fan if they would rather move back to Upton Park. Progress (in moving stadium) isn’t always for the best…
  3. Genuinely think I’m going to have FOMO missing this despite being in London Haven’t met a lot of you freaks for a good few years! Though I am hoping to meet @Kanjiin London, so every cloud ??
  4. Interesting. I was having this discussion the other day. Footylimbs and goal celebrations seem to have improved (perhaps due to faking the celebration courtesy of social media and throwing pints etc?). However, with that it does seem that attendances across the whole pyramid are up home and away. You’d never have thought a club like Brighton would be a PL club with 25-30,000 at each home game and having a decent-ish away following. Clearly they do if there is reselling going on. Football really does seem to be absolutely massive these days doesn’t it?
  5. It’s not as pathetic as the float to Williamson set penis - but considering the personnel it is bafflingly poor. Also a worry that we’ve now conceded from two corners in two games. Who is the set piece coach…?
  6. Genuinely baffles me how many blokes in their 30s and 40s (who have wives and children) go every week. I’m amazed they’re still married That’s what I loved about the away days as a younger bloke. 16-21 year old, saving up your money, buying a ticket with all your mates and going on a dreadful bus full of bigger and harder radgies than you. Sadly, that experience will occur less and less as the club becomes a closed shop - IF this isn’t dealt with properly. Been humming and harring a lot since going to the NUST AGM, but I’m really starting to think I might stand at the next AGM. Ticketing is the number 1 issue for its supporters - and the outcry from yesterday looks like the majority aren’t happy. It’s only going to get worse. It needs addressed properly now and I’m not sure I have the utmost faith in it being addressed efficiently and transparently after reading the AGM minutes.
  7. That is shite. I jacked it in under Ashley, couldn’t get a ST in the summer, like thousands of others. I’ve been to every league and cup game this season, and I’m hoping embers like me will be at the top of any new waiting list for season tickets. If they release any more in the summer, they need to weight it like they have with the cup final tickets. As there’ll be some members with 19 league games against members with 1 game vying for a ST.
  8. I’ve paid nearly £600 for a club Wembley ticket on the basis I wasn’t getting a ballot. Haven’t received them yet though ?
  9. Even without the connotations of Ashley, it looks considerably shitter imo. You can still see the ghost signage behind, as Ashley couldn’t even be arsed to clean the stand when replacing it. Nothing wrong with fans wanting to improve the aesthetics of the stadium. Interestingly, Eales seems happy to remove it after it came up in fan consultation.
  10. Why? Is a constant reminder of Mike Ashley and the Sports Direct Arena for many. I was working at the club for the Foundation the day it was taken down. Think I even posted a photo on the forum that day actually.

    Players in public

I saw Adam P aimlessly wandering around town in a long manager’s style coat last week. He’s tiny
  12. Pretty likely I’ll have 3 tickets at Shearer’s available if you want them for Face Value? £5 each.

    St James' Park

There was one of those old BBC archive videos doing the rounds of a bloke who’s job at Shrewsbury (I think) was to row out to collect the ball which had gone over the stadium roof.
  14. Same for me. Could win a fair chunk with the work group. I’m in the top 5000 worldwide. Going to start 4 Newcastle players this week. Hoping Isaak or Gordon come off the bench in IRL and win me some cheeky points.

    St James' Park

Yes, the Eldon Square project now looks pretty terrible in hindsight… It’s not even 50 years old yet.
  16. My mate works for the club and has entered a ballot for a friend ticket. Praying he gets it!
  17. Agreed. However, I did have two pricks in front of me shouting “where was I when the club was shit” against West Ham because I queried the Murphy sub Aye. I suppose a ST in the championship years isn’t enough for some…
  18. Must have been strange as a kid then. Newcastle, historically one of the most successful clubs in the country. 2 cup finals within a few years. Then having to wait 22 years for another final. At the time probably thinking, we’ll be in plenty of these from now on. Only now having waited 24 years
