If you take away his goals, he still played exceptionally well alst night. His heading was quite good his footowrk was spot on his desire was there, his chasing down of GK and defenders was all there. Better performance than any of Shola's in the last few years. Well done Besty

Have been wanting him to play for weeks as Jonas' performances have gotten worse and worse. The look of disbelief on Jonas' face when he was subbed off was unbelievable. His first 2/3 minutes he attacked with more intent than Jonas did all game. I like the look of him from what i've seen so far. And who knows he could sort out our Ben ARfa problem. Fergie on the wing Ben Arfa playing off Carroll or in the hole. Early days yet. But who knows

From the 4 games i have witnessed first hand. I have been largely impressed with the set up of the team. I'm enjoying the fact there seems to be a more balanced wing play about the side. I'm enjoying the urgency and the fact that we are trying to play some good stuff at times. Despite it being early days i'd give Pardew an 8/10 for his first 3/4 weeks in charge.

I was like 2 rows up and left to them, and i took part in a sprinkler before the game with them I told them at Half time they had been on the tele which they seemed happy about. I was alos in the matchday programme

I doubt we would have been laughing had Wigan equalised. Probably was played to be put in the shop window/to show Ranger to change his attitude and that he is bottom of the pecking order.
