You seem to have a decent bit of coaching to put on your CV. The hard part is just finding a job you want. Your best bet would be to send CV's off to League 1 and 2 clubs, or to constantly keep up to date with coaching websites and things like that. Its a hard one with you possibly having to up sticks and leave Ireland. Have you ever considered coaching in America? I've heard now though that they're trying to cut down the amount of coaches coming over from Britain because they want to develop the sport themselves :/

scored twice v sunderland but had a poor game all the same. Bollocks did he. don't let the goals cloud your view of his overall game. I'm not. Shola has been awful this season, but he was definitely not vs Sunderland. I watched the match yesterday on Sky Player actually. Have to disagree from what i remember. he scored a pen...and he scored an albeit fantastic follow up shot but that really was all he did all game.

You do see a few, and if you pay for i think you get priority on viewing it. Good luck with your job mate.

Football-jobs website, got to pay to view any of the job info. Any other good jobs going while we're on the subject

This and if a plyer deserves a wage rise I.e Ranger, give him one Give him what he's worth. Plus all players should get the same win bonus. It's so unfair if somebody like Carroll gets a higher win bonus than somebody like Simpson because they both would have played their part in the win. I thought the club had got rid of all the bonus payments. If they haven't done so yet, they certainly have been trying to do so. Didn't know that they had or were trying to.

It should. It only had the coaches names and nothing else. Saying that on SAFC website you can click on the coaches and see what their qualifications are etc...which shows what you have to work to. And it would be great for the players to be able to show people that they're on the website and has a little bio on them like the Academy players get.

Such a shame that most of them haven't got a clue though. My mate plays at Hartlepool U18's and his coach was a good player for Pools back in his day but his coaching methods are terrible and all he does is effs and blinds and kicks off on the touchline. A typical joystick manager. It really is frustrating.

They should really update the website. There used to be a section on who coached the Under 9's to 16's as well. I don't know where that has disappeared to.

How is he 39!!! http://www.nufc.co.uk/page/News/Features/0,,10278~2248885,00.html

Who used to be the Under 18 coach? They really are going for this promotion from within, much like a business. I think its a great idea and it gives anybdoy wanting to do coaching as a profession like myself, Caz, Obi, & Andy a great chance in the coming years

It is a joke like. Perhaps they just want coaches who REALLY want it and who want to be a better coach?

I was just thinking who the last keeper we had that could kick consistently well was. Shocking that we have to go that far back tbh, cant think any any since. Was at a game at Everton when he was in the team, think we won 2-0 that day, Hooper hit the Everton crossbar from a goal kick!

You could always apply for the Kenya national job. Apparently somebody just randomly applied and listed his FM achievements and got a reply a few weeks later saying that he was on their advanced shortlist He didn't get the job but still... There's every possibility atm that Level 3 coaches can get work with Pro clubs. There's one lad i've spoken to and this is what he emailed me for those interested Hi Chris, Please dont be put off by no hopers as you will meet a lot of them in life. Believe anything is possible! I had a similar dream to yourself and was told the same as you have been by everyone bar two, separate old men. One the best coach I have ever seen who worked with grassroots players and another who was the manager of a few professional clubs. I look my levels 1 and 2 at 16. I worked harder than anyone else of the course and worked for several non league/ grassroots and womens clubs to get the practice time. I passed both first time so studied sports coaching at college and started the UEFA B at 17. Again I worked harder than anybody else on the course and gave up playing to concentrate on coaching. Even helping our college coaches deliver sessions for the team. Whilst at college I volunteered at our local pro clubs Centre of Excellence and worked my way up to head coach of the under 10's. I then went to university to study Sports Science as the Football Association and clubs like Manchester United Academy will rarely employ people without a degree now. I am working towards the UEFA A licence and I have worked as a paid coach at two of the biggest academies in the country. I have spent time abroad observing coaches at places like Barcelona. If I was you I would aim to become a 1st team coach or academy manager and once you are in those positions you may be given a chance to become caretaker. This is becoming more common in England and is already the norm in Europe. As for not playing - It really does not matter, so long as you can make up for this in other areas. I would suggest taking a teaching qualification (Once you have a degree). obtain some sort of sports science qualification as this will be massive in the future and get booked on to the new FA youth coaching awards as these are excellent! Good luck Christ he's done a lot for a young lad.

I assumed he meant Willy was talking of Saylor's contract No Did he not say '5 or 6k'? Like you say he must be talking bollocks there. I dunno, because 2 weeks before he thought he would be on his way out. Then a couple of weeks later he came in and was buzzing and really happy and said because of his new wages he just bought his wife two cars. Forget what they were but easily over £100K. May have been his signing on fee. I don't know. Most probably may have been exagerrated when my mate told me. I did say that must be bollocks though because of our wage cap. And straight away he replied no that's defo what he said... Hmm....
-
Hope so. I could plan to swoop in on Jose
-
It must be utter s***e like, but if it is true

I assumed he meant Willy was talking of Saylor's contract No

He should think like that though. His wage cut will probably be more than what other teams would offer him. I.e Everton. Your top 6 sides wouldn't go near him. His best bet is probably here, and becoming a legend.
-
On a side note my mate's mam cuts Willy's hair and he said his new contract was 56K a week. He does spout bollocks a bit like. But if it is true (most probably not) its madness
-
Basically. Or AP has offered him more than he's worth
