I think he's leaving cos the Sunday Sun is soon to go under. I was talking to a Journo and he was saying eventually there'll just be the Ronnie, which will be the only paper in Newcastle.

Love it. Started by a fella called "Kiddybloke"! Should be on the sex offenders register that lad. realise that "kiddy" is probably short for an area of the west midlands. But all the same. To say that thread pi***d me off is an understatement

Meanwhile, Ben Arfa has chained himself to Hughton's desk, and is screaming, 'Please Mr Hughton, don't let them take me away!' Maybe Ireland played Tunisia away in 1987 and Hughton is, in fact, Ben Arfa's birth father. Hatem Ben Hughton That is actually believable!

read it before, absolute bollocks it is! the tyne wear derby has to be right up there and it's one the oldest as well How exactly? To be put on that list would be embarrassing compared to the others. and how would it be embarrassing, sunderland and newcastle are two clubs known throughout the footballing world! lazio's history is nowhere near that of our club and that of sunderlands You are now saying that Newcastle vs Sunderland is a bigger worldwide occassion then the Roma derby? yes, newcastle v sunderland is watched right around the world you know, seem's like you've inherited the Ruud Gullit gene of derby matches! staggerring. so i'm guessing you find nufc v sunderland a small match then? i think your view of the world to be quite limited if you think that only the UK watches this match It is, in relation to those rivalries. Corinthians is the biggest team in Brazil btw. Also how about you educate yourself a little with the Lazio and Roma rivalry, that is more then football. To think that the TyneWear apparently eclipses it - now that is a limited view on the world tbh. then you don't know the history of the rivalry between the city's of newcastle and sunderland then! the two cities have always been rivals, they used to be rivals for ship building work which exsisted all the way to the late 1950's! our's is much more than a football match I think people are forgetting the Civil War aswell!!! Newcastle on the royalist side, Mackems on Parliament's side

This, basically. I struggle to afford a ST every year, and MA lulled me into the 3 year plan, especially when i thought the good times would come back under KK. What a fool i was. I'll always be a Newcastle fan but the amount of times i've been pissed about by the club post 2005 is a joke. Fingers crossed though. But i can see this being a long hard seaosn with dwindling crowds as the season goes on with one obvious final inervitable outcome.

It really is a fu**ing joke. The club that season man. He had 35 games to sort it out, and he waited all of September to appoint somebody and then from february to April to appoint somebody again. GRRRR!
