Nar nar. Were you on the Albion/Spring Gardens bus from Shields yesterday?

They pulled us in on the A19. They told us they were acting on 'information recieved' I'm not joking when I say that at least 6 squad cars, 2 vans and as one copper was happy to enlighten us an ARU as well. And the dogs! They 'detained' us for 30 minutes while they filmed us, nigh on took the bus apart looking for what I haven't a clue. Drink likely! There was none. And post match a lad 12 years old got hit by a missile flung from the smoggie bastards and cut his head. Paramedics had to patch him up. Aye same happned to me. You were probabaly on same bus as me, if you were on the one thatthe lad got hit on the head.

I must admit i chuckled at first, but i think it was more the irony more than owt else

Which bus were you on? Spring Gardens? Coz it must have been same lad that was sitting two seats infront of me on the bus aye. The bairn looked white as a sheet when he got on the bus, pleased he got a bit more colour in his cheeks by the time we got back. His dad was saying he was walking along and he saw something fly past and then the bairn was covered with blood. Poor bairn. s**** that like, hope the bairn's ok. Aye it was a pi** take like. I was getting really annoyed. I was looking out the window and i saw his dad walking with him and his son with a bandage on his head and i was fuming. The police were really poor today tbh.

completely correct. i was screaming at him in the stands when he brought Best on....but he actually played quite well, and did a lot more than Carroll today.

Fair play to the ones that stayed to the death and indulged in a bit of daft banter but the majority were spoiling for a fight. I saw about half a dozen get kicked out. It didn't help when the 'bad eggs' were moved onto the balcony which over runs into the Leazes Corner concourse. It was funny taking the pi** out of the ones who had been moved down there though...

. That seems to rely on Allardyce keeping the team in the Premiership. The team that was playing in the couple of months before he was sacked was woeful. It was demoralised, they had no idea what to do with the ball when we had it, they seemed incapable of creating chances and their heads dropped if they conceded, there was no backup plan for how to play if they were behind. It took Keegan 8 games to turn it around and get them winning again. I have absolutely no doubts that had we kept Allardyce we'd have been relegated that season Completely agree. The football was awful, i couldn't see where our next points were coming from. One word to sum up Allardyce at Newcastle has to be 'Derby'. I hated Fat Sam, and his football. KK's spell was brief but it reminded me of the good times, and we were starting to head in the right direction, and now Llambias is saying we're heading in the right direction again. Maybe so, but it will take another 2-3 years at least get us back to where we were with KK's side at the end of 2007/2008 and the start of 2008/2009

Sky will eventually cripple football...if they havn't already. And after years of boring predictable tables and 'those teams scrapping around' for points fans will start to leave. Stadiums will be half empty (Ahem...Wigan. Ahem...Bolton) and SKY will pack up and leave. A few years later we may get football back to the days of 'proper fans'. Well it's a pipe dream but it might happen
