    Martin O'Neill

We did 6 million on Xisco
  3. I agree with every word in that post. Aye. He has done a great job this season and he deserves everything that comes his way, but if things start to go wrong how will people inevitably deal with it...

    Martin O'Neill

...and that HAS to be down to the manager and coaches ; I reckon Robertson takes a lot of credit for Milner's progress, but NUFC have to accept responsibilty for either not playing him in the right position, or not developing his ability into the sort of player he now is. Maybe KK would have moved him inside - he certainly didn't want to sell him. Well, Keegan didn't want Smith or Owen to be sold either. By that stage, Milner was a pawn in the power struggle between him and Wise. Credit to O'Neill because what he spotted in Milner was potential, not performance. I don't think any of the other big clubs were interested or prepared to pay anything like that money. And it's not like Milner slotted instantly into a regular first team place at Villa. What Milner has got is a fantastic attitude to self-improvement. His physical fitness is now quite astonishing, for someone who doesn't look like the greatest natural athlete. He also thrives on responsibility, and while he wasn't ready for that central role while he was with us, he's got there with Villa. I always saw KK moulding him into a CM like he did with Rob Lee last time. And hey! what do you know MON does it and he is one of the best players in the league at the moment...
  5. mate you're gonna have to do this until you die now I hope he doesn't do Accumulator's
  6. Aye. Im sure Ashley put a bet on saying we'll never break 50k this year or summit. Because surely that was full.

    Lookalikes

    Great film :colo:
  8. You don't get to play at the levels they have without being hungry. You don't have to kiss the badge or run around chasing the ball like a 6 year old every game to be hungry either. Wether they were hungry or not in the past really means nothing to us though does it? Neither of them were hungry to play for us last season and they certainly wouldn't be this season or next season. That is true. Your not going to be hungry when you have already made it, and are on 100k or 60k a week.
  9. As long as he is out long enough for Chelsea or Arsenal to win the league
  10. cloughie loved us, always had good banter with our fans. used to wave to the gallowgate everytime we played them. He was close to managing us but whoever was chairman in the mid to late 70's fu**d it up. Ws it McKeag?

    The play-offs

Please be BLACKPOOL. I want an away Saturday game!!
  12. saw this on Forest forum :mackems: By the by, with the scab thing why don't we celebrate it instead of get defensive. Sing we are scabs, by packet soups and throw them to northern twats etc
  13. Aye same. Its getting hard!!! He even waved first time of asking last night man!!!
  14. That was brilliant. Seems so long ago. Oba, Owen, and Viduka combing for the third goal was brilliant and Martins solo run for the fourth was fantastic. Tonight is more special though, even if the performance isn't as memorable. That game was meaningless, this was the biggest match we have won for quite some time. 2 years ago today...
  15. That Forest forum makes me dislike them even more!!! I only like Forest because of Cloughie. But Miners strike and how much they hate us is outweighing Old Big Head at the moment!
  16. A memeber of a union who is on strike who breaks off from striking to work. Back in the 84-85 miners strike most of the Midlands miners kept on working and about 96% of the Norht East miners were striking. So everybody was pi**ed off with them. Especially when some of them striked for a whole year. And by the end only 10% of Nottingham's miners were actually on strike
  17. Just to do with the miners strike. They normally get quite offended
  18. I wonder how many 'SCAB' chants there will be tomorrow? There was a few in October at the City ground IIRC
  19. Good result. Tell me ma me ma I won't be home for tea I'm going to WEM-BER-LEE Tell me ma me ma

    Martin O'Neill

It could be similar to us and SBR for Villa fans. I think if a manager like MON came we actually would give a manger time for once. I ust feel Villa would make a stupid move if they sacked him. I hope they do and it goes tits up for them. Especially after we got relegated at Villa Park

and that would be a problem because? A) We have a Hughton B) He's Irish and C) He's a t***. So is Hughton
