The mock up of the away 95/96 season is lush. I want it :frantic: :frantic:

Out of the 139 voters why does Jose only have 135

Apart from us (feels good saying that), they have a good run-in aswell. Definitely think they'll sneak into the play-offs. However, they'd absolutely bomb in the Premier League - atleast it would guarentee a relegation spot taken up! good day out as well, if its on a Saturday...

Why havn't we played Smith up front for nearly 2 years? YES HE DOESN'T SCORE MANY. But that game against Arsenal was one of the only games i remember him up front all game and he was fantastic, but now he seems to have lost all confidence wand won't even venture outside the centre cricle at times

Rob Lee Agree with everything he said there
-
No Butt, Best, Shola and the other likely subjects for me
-
I agree with every word in that post. Aye. He has done a great job this season and he deserves everything that comes his way, but if things start to go wrong how will people inevitably deal with it...

...and that HAS to be down to the manager and coaches ; I reckon Robertson takes a lot of credit for Milner's progress, but NUFC have to accept responsibilty for either not playing him in the right position, or not developing his ability into the sort of player he now is. Maybe KK would have moved him inside - he certainly didn't want to sell him. Well, Keegan didn't want Smith or Owen to be sold either. By that stage, Milner was a pawn in the power struggle between him and Wise. Credit to O'Neill because what he spotted in Milner was potential, not performance. I don't think any of the other big clubs were interested or prepared to pay anything like that money. And it's not like Milner slotted instantly into a regular first team place at Villa. What Milner has got is a fantastic attitude to self-improvement. His physical fitness is now quite astonishing, for someone who doesn't look like the greatest natural athlete. He also thrives on responsibility, and while he wasn't ready for that central role while he was with us, he's got there with Villa. I always saw KK moulding him into a CM like he did with Rob Lee last time. And hey! what do you know MON does it and he is one of the best players in the league at the moment...

Aye. Im sure Ashley put a bet on saying we'll never break 50k this year or summit. Because surely that was full.

You don't get to play at the levels they have without being hungry. You don't have to kiss the badge or run around chasing the ball like a 6 year old every game to be hungry either. Wether they were hungry or not in the past really means nothing to us though does it? Neither of them were hungry to play for us last season and they certainly wouldn't be this season or next season. That is true. Your not going to be hungry when you have already made it, and are on 100k or 60k a week.

As long as he is out long enough for Chelsea or Arsenal to win the league

cloughie loved us, always had good banter with our fans. used to wave to the gallowgate everytime we played them. He was close to managing us but whoever was chairman in the mid to late 70's fu**d it up. Ws it McKeag?
