  1. The whole pub (The Junction) was silent in his post match press conference. If that’s a barometer of feeling amongst the support, he’s certainly got the majority behind him. Keep on gannin Eddie
  2. Heading home now. Was great to catch up with @Heron, and I’d like to say that no other club could generate an atmosphere like that tonight; not in the position we’re in. The Strawberry Corner didn’t stop all night and there were moments when the whole ground joined in. It really did bring a tear to the eye. Look at the bigger picture; our club is back. Have hope, we CAN stay up and if we don’t - let’s start again.
  3. Any reason why he was time wasting in the last 10?
  4. It’s a lovely feeling; in a very strange way. I genuinely never thought I’d get that feeling back. Let’s just hope we get the 3 points as well. Haven’t seen us win with this feeing yet!
  5. Norwich training on the RGS 1st XV rugby pitch this afternoon. A bizarre place to train!
  6. Just looked at his stats. Pretty pathetic return for a striker. I wonder if it still would have gone to shit had he stayed? He was on fire, and then he moved and he has never gotten close to the heights of 2009-2011. 7. Yep, annoys me there's a new kit every season. A) If there's a good one (lol yeah right) it's nice to be 'in date' for 2 years for those that purchased it. B) It's just better isn't it? It became a big deal when there was a kit reveal. Lots of anticipation surrounding it C) On points A and B - would one not think in the longer term you actually sell more? As opposed to people humming and harring on getting one if it will be out of date in under 12 months? If so, the club ends up making more £
  8. Even being the case, we're still on the longest run then
  9. I never remember singing that for him?
  10. We’ve now got the oldest crest in the Premier League
  11. Just checked out that Pearson lad's youtube channel. Does he film the whole game from his phone so he can upload the goals? Genuinely can't get my head around that. Just enjoy the game and the moment. It does my head in when people film a penalty, let alone doing it the whole game.

    Joelinton

Was trying to find this out earlier and all I could find was ‘pure fucking magic’
  13. Possibly a bit harsh on the third as it did take a deflection. The second though he’s caught in no man’s land.
  14. I don’t even know what the rules are now. Can he not test PCR negative and then be back in 2 days?

    Joe Willock

Fair point. Hopefully we can see just 50% of what he offered last season. I’m sure Howe will get him back to his best. Agreed we can’t rely on Hayden - perhaps Longstaff may also improve? Pretty clear we need two centre midfielders, full backs and one centre half minimum.

    Joe Willock

£20m? Dear me. I think we all knew his goal scoring form at the end of last season was unsustainable. But, his general play yesterday was horrific. I honestly forgot he was playing he did that little. Hopefully we can get the old Willock back, and quickly. Otherwise he should be nowhere near the starting XI based off of that performance yesterday.
  17. We’re probably going to have to score at least 2 to get anything from them. Question is, can we keep them out? Fuck it. 1-2 win. Wilson and Schar goalscorers.
  18. Small margins are important and certainly change the mood. Had Joelinton stayed on his feet and scored and we won 4-3, I’m sure everyone would be much more confident we’d survive. Had Fraser not got a Nick of the ball when Brentford were through late on and we lost 4-3, the doom in here would have been even worse. We’re in a terrible position and on paper we’re as good as down. However, anyone with eyes can see how much we’ve improved in 2 weeks. I really think we could get 7 points from the next 3 games, as we improve by 2-3% every game in fitness, tactics, ability etc. I love caring again.
  19. With the players available, with the run we’re on? I’d say it’s up there. It might not be the greatest we’ve had in a decade but within 2 weeks of Howe we’re playing like that? Yep, I think we need to be optimistic, otherwise what’s the point - let’s just accept relegation now. Plenty of others on here have
  20. Records are there to be broken
  21. Hesitant in his box, hesitant to come out of the box early, poor comms, and clearly howlers in him as well. Can’t play again when we’re in a relegation battle. It’s that simple, and I’m sure Howe will have him benched next week.
  22. For once a lot of positives from that game. People saying we’re relegated man. Give over. That’s possibly the best attacking display I’ve seen from us in nigh on a decade. Set pieces were excellent too. We know the issues in defence, we have to power through until January and hope we can pick up enough points. However, Darlow was horrific.

If that’s how he plays after two weeks of Howe…
