Small margins are important and certainly change the mood. Had Joelinton stayed on his feet and scored and we won 4-3, I’m sure everyone would be much more confident we’d survive. Had Fraser not got a Nick of the ball when Brentford were through late on and we lost 4-3, the doom in here would have been even worse. We’re in a terrible position and on paper we’re as good as down. However, anyone with eyes can see how much we’ve improved in 2 weeks. I really think we could get 7 points from the next 3 games, as we improve by 2-3% every game in fitness, tactics, ability etc. I love caring again.

With the players available, with the run we’re on? I’d say it’s up there. It might not be the greatest we’ve had in a decade but within 2 weeks of Howe we’re playing like that?
