Cruyff Guardiola Rijkaard Kubala Luís Enrique Then there's some club legends that went to manage us like César, Rifé or Samitier, but I don't think they are much known outside our turf. Apparently Martino was a bit of a legend for Newell's, too.

Sevilla en route to another EL final.

I contend that Mathieu has been a good squad player, it was just madness to pay what we paid for him, at his age, to be a squad player. Vermaelen, well...
-
I will be glad if we pay that bonus. But yeah, words fail me to describe that deal.

Football's greatest - where does Lionel Messi rank?

He has decent chance of finishing the season with 40 goals while playing on the wing. Aye, he's shit like -

The UEFA Best Player award uses a similar format as the old Ballon D'Or (journalist voting), and so far it's been: 2010-2011: Messi 2011-2012: Iniesta 2012-2013: Ribery 2013-2014: Ronaldo -
Ramos out for season (all 2 games) with a torn soleus; apparently he kept on playing against Juve despite getting injured in the first half.
-
And Bayern now... but yeah, Jémez has achieved a lot with Rayo, but it's his mujahideen-esque commitment to attacking football what makes me love him.
-
That year we finished 6th it probably felt like your relegation. EXACTLY THE SAME.

Tickets are not yet on sale because of the strike, actually. Now that it seems resolved they should shortly become available at either the club's site or ticketmaster; I always buy them from those places.

The Spanish FA confirms there will be games this weekend.

Let's entertain the fact that this story may have an ounce of truth in it for a moment. What sort of player is he VI? Strengths / weaknesses? Used to play as a striker, moved to the left wing as inside forward at Barça B. Quick, mobile, very good off the ball. Not particularly fancy or creative, a classic Spanish forward.

Last 5 football games I have watched: Real Madrid - Juventus Bayern - FCB FCB - Real Sociedad Newcastle - West Brom FCB - Bayern

Yeah? Managed to hype yourself up for the CL final? Good man. Seventh in my lifetime, gotta look for fresh angles. Seven Champions League finals Did you care more about the 1st than the 6th? I was very little when we played Steaua, and given how that one went I don't really treasure many memories from it I still get mushy inside when I see Koeman's goal. Messi's mike-kicking antics in the last one are truly special too. 2006 one is pretty special too, I lived in Madrid at the time and had to plea my merengue boss for a day off to travel to Barcelona to watch the semi second leg against Milan... All are great memories, even the defeat at Athens I recall vividly, I fucking love the CL really.

Spanish court has declared the footballers strike illegal. However, the Spanish FA is still performing a lockout. So we're still without football until they relent.

Yeah, I enjoy the banter myself

Hope you're right, I'm still scarred from the last time we played an European final against an Italian team.

He's more no-nonsense than your usual Barça player, it's not that bad a fit. Personally I don't think he's good enough for us, but he can have a good career. Anyway, with Barça B certain to be relegated we will go on a loan spree to get some of the players there playing time at a decent level, so it's not far-fetched.
-
Oh Sandro, I like him a lot. He's always reminded me a lot of Pedro, a forward that has made up the fact he doesn't have the technique or flair of other young starlets with tons of drive and hard work.
-
The fact I despise Real Madrid notwithstanding, Barça - Juve is a game that feels fresh, we haven't played each other much and the last time was more than 10 years ago. I'm really up for it.
-
Ancelotti says that he wants to stay but that it's up to the club.
-
I probably wouldn't celebrate against Barça tbf; that lad is obviously white through and through.
-
Luque sighting; apparently he's a pundit now. He says Madrid's attitude was poor - oh the irony.
