Trying to be as objective as possible, I thought Shelvey was irresponsible for their third. He was shit for it. But he shouldn't be in that position. All stemmed from Shelvey & Colback making an absolute fucking mess of a freekick.

Rotherham United vs Newcastle United - 01/10/16 at 3pm (not on UK TV)

That was too fun. The footballing gods won't allow anything other than a depressing 1-0 loss. -
He's the polar opposite to Yedlin and I don't think he's particularly good but there's nee point chuntering him off and getting on his case. Yup. Probably provides decent balance with Yedlin on t'other side.

At least he didn't look very Colback or Shelvey. Or is that another lazy comparison? What would be wrong with looking like Shelvey? Have the armchair fans decided he had a stinker? Shelvey put us 2-1 down by sitting on an armchair while some Norwich lad took time to aim the ball into the far corner. Have a re-read of the pre-match thread and your backing of Colback seems even more laughable. This is one of the reasons I don't trust the views of match attending fans on comparisons with Sissoko and Diame. They basically don't really understand football in the wider sense.

Your boycott over Ronnie? It's the first game I've been to in a year and the second since Pardew's first 0-3 against Sunlun. The club's vaguely on the right track now so I'll go to the odd one when I can unless that changes. Everything is coming up Milhouse.

Got back into a position to stop the 3rd and just fucked it off. Weirdo.

Still 10, always have been. Beat Rotherham and go into the break in a lush position. -
Nearly shit myself when he absolutely merked their fullback and put in a lush ball during our initial spell of dominance.

Just saw the clip. Utter creep.

Was howling watching that. Possibly the greatest photo of all time.
-
Lazy comparison I know, but looked very Sissoko tonight. No fight.
-
Was raging with him when he came on acting the tit. Made up for it.
-
Chuffed for him tonight. Outstanding goals.

He was gash.

Love you. Could have probably made the subs earlier, but got them spot on.

Good team. -
I love Rafa but I tend to agree there are those in our support that will begin to turn, that's another reason why we need a win tomorrow. If this happens then I'm done with the club. We deserve the worst. It's s*** and I really hope it doens't happen, but I think it would hardly be uniquely disgraceful of our fans - to see a club of our size down in the Championship is bad enough, to see us losing again at home, it would test the patience of a lot of clubs' fans. We've had s*** for 12 years now, if people can't be a bit patient while the best manager we've had possibly ever in terms of his CV, while he gets across a new philosophy as well as bedding in almost a new full first team, then they deserve someone like Steve Bruce. I'd be done with us if fans do that. Aye Rafa shouldn't get any of the blame, but don't think I can blame fans getting frustrated. I hope they think enough to see how that will affect Rafa though. Nobody is turning on Rafa lads.

In a way it's the best thing that could have happened to him. Everyone probably already knew he was a corrupt fat bastard who had his sins swept under the carpet, at least now he can cling on to his reputation as a top English manager with a 100% success record. He should have stepped away after surviving the first scare like Harry Redknapp. There's only so many times the FA or a sympathetic jury can turn a blind eye. Quite a stretch. Unsurprised to hear certain people in the popular media already have his back, even in the face of indefensible evidence. They've all sucked him off relentlessly for years. For them it's like when Australians found out Rolf Harris was a nonce.

Even if we lose we'll only be 6 off promotion spots. We gave everyone a 6 point start and sorted that out in no time. The time to worry is if we're adrift at Christmas. More concerned about putting in a decent performance for a full 90 tomorrow. -
Hope Sir Alex is implicated before he dies anarl. Howay.
