Whacked some of last nights winnings on a Bordeaux/Derby double. Not sure about it like
-
Throw out all your Futureheads CDs and Peter Kay DVDs. This is the way forward I think - symbolic hoying of stuff with remind you not to bet on their match again. Haven't got anything with Peter Kay and the only Futureheads I've got is in digital form. The symbolism of throwing a folder on my computer to the bin doesn't sound very dramatic Ahhh fair enough. Next season I might put it in my sig - "Teams who've f***ed me over this season" - with dates and that, as a constant reminder. it does still stick aswell. even if rotherham are taken over by a multi billionaire, they don't lose or draw a game in 6 years, i'll still not trust myself to bet on them. Could always take your hatred of Rotherham United out on their two most famous fans and the national treasures that are: http://img707.imageshack.us/img707/7391/cbrothers.jpg

Porto's barney in the tunnel
-
I don't think it's that far fetched. It's been widely rumoured that he doesn't get on with Benitez and a mate of mine knows someone who was in a bar when Carragher was openly slagging him off. Now that his performances have dropped (and there wouldn't be much of a fans backlash anymore if Benitez let him go) it's feasible that he'll leave. I think he'll only stay there if Benitez goes or Gerrard spits his dummy out over it. If he's a free agent then none of the top sides will come in for him so he might fancy playing in front of 50k every other week. You could do with steering clear though. He's always been overrated but has deteriorated into just being downright crap over the past 18months. Could see Tottenham/Villa possibly even City taking a misguided punt on him, just don't think we would even attempt to get him with him undoubtably after a massive salary.

We would have no chance of getting Carragher and he is probably one of the most over-rated players in the premiership. If it were possible would take him but it doesn't bother me in the slightest that it most likely isn't.

Middlesbrough vs Newcastle United - 13/03/10 - pre-match thread
Foluwashola replied to Stifler's topic in Football
You should, it will look good. You will however be then dragged out of the stadium and banned from the riverside, possibly banned from football for a while. Its not a red though is it? That would just be silly. -
Went for 2 sneaky little trebles tonight, looking to scrape my way back to glory after a dissapointing weekend QPR, Arsenal, Notts County & West Brom, Leeds, Mackem twats. Feel slightly bad as I now kind of want West Brom and the inbreds to win, meh

Did he not get fat and die or something similar?

Honestly wish it was confined to N-O. Without a doubt there are these arguments going on around the river Tyne right now. Change the record about the fans mate - if you're not basing it on N-O then I haven't got a clue what else you're basing it on since you're not from the area. Not playing the "whey, I'm a local superfan" card as I don't even live in the North East at the minute, but you seem to snipe at the fans all the time. I thought this was based on the bipolar views you get on this forum, but apparently not if the comment above is owt to go by. I've held my tongue about this for a while because you seem a decent kid and that, but you're always having a go at the fans when they're the main positive attribute of the club, even if there are a few clowns. Oh and to say these arguments are "going on around the river Tyne right now" - they won't be mate, people will have just been out getting pissed and jolly after a great win, simple as. So true...so very true -
Aye, a few home bankers decided not to turn up today. Bristol getting beat 5-3 off Donny, why.......just why?

The Beeb's official stats are fantastic reading. We only had 5 shots on target apparently 1 of the goals was a header. -

Fuckin hell, we're mint -
There aren't many newly promoted teams push on like Birmingham have. We have to be realistic and assume that its more likely we take the route of a struggling first season back. Also, their upsurge in form coincided with a change of club ownership Although I agree, I just don't think I can bring myself to simply wish for safety. It just doesn't seem right
-
Voted yes but I don't see why we shouldn't be looking to achieve what Birmingham have this season. Tbh with a few decent signings we should survive comfortably considering the amount of crap teams in the bottom half of the prem, unfortunately a few decent signings has been wishful thinking in recent seasons.
